looks like you've a lot of correction going on once the o2 sensor wakes up. Looking at your MAF scale I think you need to make a reduction there to account for the larger MAF tube that should help the idle.

Also your injectors are scaled at 860, but you say they are 850cc? If they are indeed 850cc then they will probably scale around the 800 mark - i've never seen any that flow more than they are rated for unless the fuel pressure has been bumped.

If you grab the LTV info as well you should see roughly how much correction is happening, might also be related to injector latency too but depending on the brand of the injectors someone may already have some settings you can use.

Thanks I'll take a look at the scales. For the Maf i found one online for the same housing and thats what i used, the the injectors i used the DW latencys and just put in 850. I just wasnt sure what map was best to scale for corrections, I was worried about scaling maf because of load tables, but i guess if the load tables in this rom are MAP based, does scaling the maf matter at all?

I open LTV last night when i did the second log but it didnt make much sense to me, ill have to read into what the is.

Future plans are to be 100% SD, I was just hoping to get it tuned good on MAF first then log that data for the VE map

Two other points, I dont have the BCS hooked up at the moment, just a vacuum line from compressor to the wastegate. And my BOV is VTA about 24" pre throttle body

yeh so I would start with some maf scaling to get you back on fuel targets at idle cruise.

thanks i'll try the maf scaling.

Going to start with a 25% cut at idle voltage and interpolate it up to around 2v for now.

I still have to bleed brakes before i can drive it.

in romraider logger if you hit "show LTV" the fuel correction A will give you a rough idea how much you need to scale the whole range. Just use half of that value and use that as a starting point. Assuming you've no vac leaks it will get you pretty close.

you may be overrunning the oem fpr. can you put a pressure gauge on the rail?

i considered this. I dont have a fitting currently but could get one together.

I started leaning away form it though because on cold starts it idles around 14 afr then slowly gets richer as it warms up until its in the low 10's and starts smoking from tail pipe. I have several fpr's i could try

removing vac line to fpr richens it up.

i trimmed maf 25% in idle are and recaled injectors to 870s.

still idles at 10:1 gas seeping from exhaust gasket

switched to SD only mode. runs better, tip ins lean, but idling at 11.4. Drove around the block. Clutch slipping like crazy, brakes hardly work, pretty sure oil seal on hot side went bad. ugh. but i logged it all anyway

for speed density, to get g/sec done around 3. do i just drop the ve at idle til i get there are afr to 14.7?

yes that's right - tinker with the VE map until your wideband matches what your fuel target is. You can make the fuel target a little more basic as well to help you out with that.

thanks for the help bludgod. I've been looking around for other VE maps to see what kind of values are wourking out. I think I'll be around 40% at idle by hte time i get 14's and no correction, just curious if thats much lower than the norm or if i should be looking at latencys too

i havent looked at this log yet, but the lc2 showed me right on target cruising. Tip in lean, "tip out" is rich and still mid 11's at idle with high correction. turbos smoking pretty bad, im going to swap it out and relog, since the o2's are both post turbo.

uploaded mostly to look at at work

its still idling mid 11s afr. i keep reducing the ve in that area but doesnt seem to be doing anything, fuel corection at -25 and 11.4 to 11.7 afr idle. i tried a force open loop and still idles 11.4ish. i feel like i would need the ve to be near 0 for it to lean out unless something like injector latency or another table is out of whack

im idling around 4.2psi so i rescaled the map, it wouldnt interpolate the scale so i just left first cell at 4.

also swapped out the vf43 that was burning oil and tried new down pipe gasket.
