Just a quick thought for your program . When you click a cell in the sheet, can you highlight the entire line so that it's easy to glance across the entire line? If necessary, you could leave the default highlight of the cell dark blue and then highlight the rest of the line in a lighter blue. Just something to keep the eyes of the user tracked across a given line. I saw that you're using C# in another utility you were working upon. I'm actually a C# developer so if I can lend a hand, let me know. t

I think the issue some people are having is that if you just double click on the .exe it doesnt do anything. You literally need to take the .csv and drag and drop it onto the .exe icon. Then it opens the log.
This is amazing, btw. I would love it if next you were able to make histgrams with it. IE, take a table and make it rpm vs map and put knock counts in the cells (average, min, max, number of events). Then, at least I personally could almost completely cut the cord to excel while tuning except for a couple oddball things and setting up a tune for an engine from math with no reference.

Another option is to double-click on CSV files, and when Windows asks you which program to use to open them, pick LogViewer.exe Then you can use LogViewer to open files just by double-clicking on the file, or downloading files with your web browser, or whatever. I've been toying with the idea of adding plots for plot boost-over-RPM, AFR-over-RPM, etc, etc. However I don't know when I'll get around to it. There are not enough hours in the day anymore.

This is actually a useful tool but one feature has me still waiting for OpenOffice to load up....
Conditional formatting.
First thing I do is highlight the KnockSum column and make any cells > 1 have a red background color to indicate knock.
I then create rules on TPS > 50 to highlight those cells yellow, and a rule for PSIG to show when boost is above 12psi as blue.
Makes it *really* easy to scroll through long logs and discover interesting events. I feel blind with all the cells one color. It's truly a different experience with some simple color formatting rules.
If I could somehow get that functionality from a small config file or something, this tool would be perfect.

Hi!
I'm new here, I'm Alex and I need more information about my problem!
I used RR to log my car. When I check my *.cvs in excel, its open correctly, I saw everything what I was recorded. But When I want to put in log viewer, I see nothing. Only time, look like everything is jammed in cel number1. Its wired. I want to used ROad Dyno in RR or Virtual dyno but I have always a error message, missing parameters. Airboy spreedsheet not working because of this.
I used Win8, last defenition everywhere, last RR, Last Virtual dyno update. Any idea on this?
Thanks

Most utilities expect CSV format to be comma separated values with . as the decimal. If you log in a different format or read in a different format then it's most likely not being parsed correctly.
