2006 Subaru Impreza WRX MT USDM - Stage 2 Tune (A8DH201X) FeaturesMinimized Turbo Lag Peak Boost of ~16.8 PSI @2800 RPM Peak engine load of 3.0 g/rev @3600 RPM Revised AVCS for less EGR and better performance Revised Ignition timing for knock-free power Open Loop fueling tuned for power & reliability (EGT, Knock Control) Open Loop delay disabled Throttle tuning for a more linear yet sharper response CommentsIt makes great midrange torque and the car feels very 'sharp'. Full boost response is about 300-500 RPM above WOT point which is very quick. Let me know of any issues. You can find my contact info on my website http://www.picklertune.comThis map was tested with a highflow catted downpipe and a 3" catback. Road Dyno: Attachment:

What modification might be required to run this on a 4EAT transmission instead? I'm trying to find a Stg. 2 for my 07 USDM FXT 4EAT, and was told to check out some of the 06-07 WRX maps as a basis....

So I gave this map a shot and did a few logs. I am always using my car at over 5000ft altitude and the air density is typically above that. My wastegate duty cycle ramped up to 80+ percent to even hold 15lbs. I am using 91oct in New Mexico and knock was there just not high enough for the ecu to pull a lot of timing. In fact in my log the ecu was adding timing in the upper rpm, high load areas. "2.31"ish at 100% throttle. after 3200rpm. Main reason I am writing this is because I wanted to see who was still watching. I also like to hear others experiances with their 06. I used to have an 05 evo and that is were I learned ecuflash and logging with evoscan. Romraider is easy to use and clean as far as glitches goes. I need to get FIC1000's and a larger pump soon just so when I upgrade turbo and engine internals, My fuel system is where I want it. I like raceway and speedway driving and spirited weekend driving. I dont usually commute but I do make the occasional road trip 1200miles west to Northern CA where I have family. Anyone have similar use with their car? I have been looking into fp red, journal bearing, and the blouch td05 or whatever will get me just over 400 to the wheels at 5k altitude and let me drive it home.
Cheers, hope no one gets grumpy with me bringing this post back. I have since put my stock map back on when I drove to CA. Thanks again for map, btw.

Thanks mate, I have been using this tune with some additions on my 06 wrx since 2017 with the merpmod and no dramas. (PWIC, 3inch exhaust and STI turbo)
Appreciate you sharing this!

Hello all! newbie here! ive been hiding in the shadows lurking through posts and forums after forums on here learning to tune. I have never posted before nor asked for anything, so i hope this forum isnt dead.
how does these tunes compare to bullwinkles? i have been learning off bullwinkles and the fueling strategy differences are interesting. why are the fueling for the 93 tbe tunes so different? which tune is a better base to tune off of? oh man more questions come to mind as i write this. bull winkle targets like 18psi while pickler only 16.7. load cells scalled way higher on bull winkle and stay rather stock on picklers. pickler also has no avcs at the top? the timing is also vastly different.
ive been tuning now for about a year learning off romraider and youtube. my car is a 2006 subaru forester xt, 5 speed. mods: perrin v1 downpipe (with cat and wideband), 3" turbo back, TD04 turbo, stage 2 clutch, ppe (built trans) gears, AOS, cyl 4 coolant mod. STOCK INTERCOOLER. engine is healthy.
my goal is quick spool and max torque. these turbos make nothign up top so i just want to maximize what i can get out of this turbo in the midrange it works best in.
thank you for the help and feedback, i really appreciate it.

Thanks for putting this together, pickler! I've been experimenting with a modified version on my FXT.
