A4SE900D - Euro MY01-03 WRX - Definitions Request

Good Morning to all

I've made my XML File with XMwrite4, everything was easy and fast, i can open my backup file without errors.
My question is:

If with XMLwrite4 is so easy to make an XML file for RomRaider or Ecuedit, why i read always in this and other forums about people having problems with XML file or make XML file ?
Or my XML file is not right and i think is all ok?

Can somebody please take a look on my file and tell me if everything is okay?

p.s I've made a log file 1-2-3 gear where i can post (if i can) in the forum?

The defs should be fine (Locations of the maps), but the forumals to convert the data to real info is what everyone seems to have problems with. If you DL the newest def from the top of this forum (provide you ecu is supported) that would probally be the best bet at the moment.

Hi,

I've seen the def up here, but my ECU is not in the list,
i ask it because i don't want to start to make something if the begining is wrong.

mine is:

WRX EU 2001 AF530-7554 / A4SE700D

EU - that would explaine it. You can use the def he has posted to correct all the formuals or you can post in the forum and ask for your modle ecu to be added. "ev8siv3" is very quick to get stuff done (infact sometimes he amazes me).

Most time people post a thread "need def for AF530-7554 / A4SE700D " ect!

I'm working on rebuilding my computer from a memory crash last week. I will try to work on this by next week.

Comp is back up and running, I'm waiting on 2gb of OCZ Platinum DDR500 to show up today for 100% stability.

You think i make a wrong backup rom?I can do it again to see if is the same.
I forget to say that mine is a manual trasmission and use 98-100 oct Schell V-Power.

I've try the OCZ, great memory, fast read/write, seen difference with kingston or Corsair.

John,

Please use the ROM at the top of this post instead of your ROM. It is the latest revision for your Model Year and transmission. I have updated the Latest Definitions to accomodate for the 900D file, the 700D is obsolete.
