The trends and patterns are nearly the same for this and the earlier sh7055. Nissan did not change the programming methodology much. I started with some other roms that I decoded and looked for the same patterns here. When I found them I used those maps as a reference as many of the maps are spaced similary and in a similar order as the previous years ecus. There is some exception to this, but a good way to get started.

Adding on to my previous post about the similar programming, it seems that the later ecus use a different type of logic for the rev limiter. It is more of a "soft limiter" than the earlier ecus fuel cut strategy. If anyone has insight into this please let me know.

Since I think the addresses will be the same, can you either post or PM me what you have found?? Maybe something like "Fuel Target - 8 bit 16x16 map @ 0x1234 - Axis @ 0x1234 & 0xABCD - RAM Address = FFFF8XXX". Idk, that's how I have been keeping track of what I find. Really any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Here's the majority of what you need to do a base tune:

Going back and double checking everything I did get MAf and rev limit wrong here. Maf is 64 values not 256 its at oc83E. I have yet to figure out the rev limits as they are different from the Sh7055 stuff.

Thanks for the update murphys_law, maybe I'll be able to find the fuel multiplier value now

EDIT: after a quick look (without going through in detail at all) I actually may have found a few values that could be it. Do you know what a reasonable value is for the multiplier in our ROMs? The values I'm looking at are in the 32000 - 34000 range... seems too high?

poxxxy - what is your ECU ID? also what year and other info about the car (AT vs MT, etc.)?

ECU is MEC33-890, Ori bin file ID is: 1CD700... unfortunately I think my original read got corrupt as when I attempted to flash a modified version with CS correction the car was a none starter. I received ori for 1CF170 and flashed that and car is running once again but the mod I flashed also didn't really see any gains unfortunately which is a shame. Does anyone have any other bin's for the definitions over on github? It is a manual transmission by the way.
