asking if anyones tuned a Perrin EBCS pro. the bullet valve type. they are supposed to have a faster response time

I would juat start at 15hz and go up until its smooth. I would be it will work best at around the same as the mac.

I wouldn't have a clue how to find addresses :? So i just took one of the address from previous page i'm guessing if it was wrong the numbers would be messed up.

Any know if the Pierburg 3-Port is a 10-40hz Solenoid like Mac, Grimmspeed etc

Hex Editor search for 3FF761A8 is the key to finding the value

LGT - A2UG002T/A2UG001G/A2UI000Y/A2UI000Z is 0x0C026A
Gen5GT is same as WRX/STi etc

Did you experience a situation when increasing the ebcs frequency drastically decreases the WGDC needed for target boost up until point of it being unusable?
Terryjr and I run the carberry rom and there setting the ebcs freq to say 20hz makes needed wgdc quite low - such as 20% to reach 20+psi. This obviously makes it all too sensitive to be practically usable.

Yes this is to be expected, the higher the frequency the less resolution you will have. What solenoid valve are you using? I am on 31hz and i get 24psi with 30% duty.

With a lower flowing valve (smaller than a mac) such as stock or anything similar you will have a hard time venting the boost at a higher frequency. "Opens and closes too fast to vent the pressure"

Closing of wg can be slowed to some extent by restricting the vent port.

Our endeavours are documented in this thread viewtopic.php?f=15&t=13829

We started because we wanted to get rid of the wg flutter.

I've given up on this since I found going back to stock solenoid and bleed style plumbing was quiet enough and much more controllable.

This is more aimed at someone running atmo wastegate and high boost. I run 30psi so its night and day for me. Most standalone ecu's have the ability to change solenoid frequency for this exact reason

Per the MAC valve site, the standard rectangle 3ports have a .10 flow coeficient, while the bullet valve has a .24 Cv. That combined with the much faster valve response makes me think we can ramp up the hz while using a bullet valve and still have decent resolution. 0-1000hz range for the bullet. 10-30 for the 35a series old retangle version

I get my valve tomorrow. So we'll see. Im going to jump right into interrupt routing rather than bleed style

38mm tial vta ewg, targeting 29psi

Ok, so with an A2ZJ710J, i cant even find a greyed out table for the frequency. Running merpmod currently on maf in process of switching to SD.

Any insight? The wastegate flutter is killing me.
