Has anyone compiled and used the latest version of Rom Raider that supports the Nissan Checksums?

I've been messing with setting up JDE but gotten stuck..

Post about it here:

Bummer, I was hoping that someone would tell me they had compiled the latest version.

Guess I'll go back and see what I can do to get eclipse working and compile it.

If I get some time I'll provide a new Jar file you can use. I've been really really busy building a shed for my toys...

Hi dschultz,

I did a quick test (with 8U92A) and it seems to work perfectly. Thanks for providing this build !

+1 worked on cm31c. I also like how it warns you that a checksum is incorrect when you open a file. Thanks a million!

works with CF43D

This also happened for someone else while opening a "6y300" rom.

Yeap, for some reason the defs for those have the wrong size in the XML defs. I can't access github now but I imagine murph can get those fixed in the blink of an eye.

Code:
<checksum type="std" start="0" end="0xFFFFF"  ....

is valid for 1MB ROMs, but 512kB needs
Code:
end="0x7FFFF"

Eventually it would be nice to have some simple bounds checking on the start and end values vs rom size.

Good catch. I just fixed those three roms. Need to go through the rest I assume.

EDIT:
They should all be corrected now. I never paid any attention before as we didn't worry about the length, hah.

Will it work on 1.5mb roms ?

I do not think any of those roms were posted/defined previously

My understanding is that the checksum function is the same, so if the functionality for different sizes is built in then it should work. Would be relatively easy to try. That's assuming you get the locations and the length correct.
