AD s/w.
Found quite a few parameters that I need a hand defining or deciphering what they are and/or what they do. Some of them I think I have an idea of what they are if someone could confirm. I would be extremely grateful for any help/insight on these.
The addresses listed with these are from a partial bin :
1) nsoll_dec_kup_swi @ 0x2E4 Clutch Switch related. What is nsoll and dec? 2) nsoll_inc_kup_swi @ 0x2E5 Clutch Switch related. What is inc?
3) kf_pwg_fak_kup_swi__ndif__pwgist @ 5A67 What is kf, fak, ndif and pwgist?
4) t_pwg_fak_kup_swi @ 0x33A Timer related to pedal position sensor and clutch switch...
5) zw_aebg_kup_swi_ll @ 0x7D2 Timing related at idle something with the clutch switch..what is aebg?
6) t_max_kup_swi @ 0x322 Timer Max Clutch Switch?
7) k_dk_grd_sum_min @ 0x49A Throttle Body gradient minimum.. what is sum and k? 8 ) k_dk_grd_sum_min_zv @ 0x49C zv?
9) k_dk_grd_sum_max @ 0x496 10) k_dk_grd_sum_max_zv @ 0x498
11) dk_hys @ 0x452 Throttle Body Hysteresis? Anyone know when this is used?
12) dk_hys_wf @ 0x454 What is wf?
13) t_ti_inst_pas @ 0x341 Some kind of Timer for injectors? What is inst and pas?
14) GRAD_PHI_DK_SWITCH_FILTER @ 0x480 Anyone have an idea of what this is?
15) k_dk_grd_dec @ 0x23C
16) t_min_dk_dif @ 0x32C Timer Minimum Throttlebody...what is dif ?
17) pwg_ad_min @ 0x6BC Pedal Position Sensor Adaption Minimum? 18) pwg_ad_max @ 0x6BA Pedal Position Sensor Adaption Maximum?
19) k_dk_grd_dec @ 0x23C 20) k_dk_grd_dec_anz @ 0x23D 21) k_dk_grd_dec_anz_zv @ 0x23E 22) k_dk_grd_dec_zv @ 0x0x23F
23) dk_ad_mitko @ 0x18C What is mitko?
Thanks everyone.

I would assume nsoll means requested engine speed and inc/dec would be decrease/increase so those maps should control requested engine speed when you release/press cluch pedal. 323toslow wrote: 3) kf_pwg_fak_kup_swi__ndif__pwgist @ 5A67 What is kf, fak, ndif and pwgist? kf - kennfeld (map), fak - faktor (factor), ndiff - engine speed difference, PWG - pedalwertgeber (accelerator pedal position sensor), PWGist - actual position of accelerator pedal

Indeed it means throttle body hysteresis and its used to filter out signal noise in the calculation of the throttle body.

Indeed it means throttle body hysteresis and its used to filter out signal noise in the calculation of the throttle body. Signal noise? Like similarly how in older vehicles some stereos picked up electronic interference from the alternator/generator? Bad reference but its the simplest thing I could think of at the moment

We have a fully defined damos/XDF/a2l for MS43 incl description what many maps mean at www.ms43wiki.com. Why not simply compare MS42 map with MS43 map and you know what they are?

I also want to understand some MS42 abbreviations better, e.g: Cheers, Mathias

I also want to understand some MS42 abbreviations better,
This one isn’t on the list in my original post but... Im not quite sure what FGR is an acronym for but I found that it has something to do with the cruise control functions.
