hy all, new around here, i`m tring to do some data logging and to read my maps but with no succes. I have both vag kkl cable an k+dcan cable, they are working fine with inpa or with testo edibas version. When i try to use rr logger it`s not connecting regardless of the protocol selected, also galleto wont identify the ecu. with bmw scaner i was able to acces and read some bites from the ecu.
it seames tha the cables ar working only with edibas protocol.
what am i dooing wrong?
thank you all for the grate work around here

So after messing around with the cables i found that in rr logger if i select de ds2/k-line protocol it read the ecu id (1432401) but no cal id, in the right upper corner its says readind but the parameter list is not populating. if i`m trying to read ltv it gives an error about ecu definition, in rr editor its all ok as i cand edit any ms41 map. With ssm/k-line it does not read anything.
I`m using latest rr and logger def.

For ms41.0 (-401 for example). You need to use logger definition yäthat I have posted earlier. For ltv reading you also need to have different ecu definition file. If I remember correctly, I did also post that earlier.

Hi
I have ecu ID 1429861, I can connect and log just fine but I cannot read adaptations, the Cal ID is unknown. It comes up with error - ecu definition not found or undefined. I'm using the logger definitions v326 and the ms 41 ecu definitions v0.43
Cheers

Cheers In ecu defintion file, after Code: <xmlid>41</xmlid> (Line 3208 and 3680) add this line: Code: <ecuid>1429861</ecuid>

My multiplicative adaptations are about -7,5%. Also I have about 1-1,5 degrees of knock adaptation in some areas. is this something to worry about? I read about fuel adaptations on the Bavarian Technics website. It said my fuel regulator could be bad or my MAF. I recently drove with very few fuel the last km's to the gasstation. My OBC said I had 300ml left and I could hear my fuel pump screaming (I know it's bad for the pump, it was a mistake). Can this have something to do with the multiplicative adaptations being negative? What is the TPS AD value? Is this gas pedal adapation based on how aggresive you drive? (quicker gas pedal responses if you’re sporty driver) My ms41 partial is basically stock except some deceleration tables.

Yes that pretty much tells about worn MAF sensor. Those normally start to read too much air, so ecu needs to lean the mixture to compensate that.

I would use stock maf for stock car. Just wasted effort to tune for nissan maf. Boosted engines are completely different thing.

Are there any ways i can speed up the querying by changing com port settings etc?
In my mates car it does around 10 queries a second, with the same laptop and parameters it does 2-3 a second in my car.
