Sorry I didn't read the entire 17 pages but I'm really hyped about the burble when letting the throttle off.

Is there a post which straight up explains what I will have to edit in order to accomplish the exhaust burble? Is it even possible with ms41.0?
Is it in any way bad for the car (i heard you can destroy your cats?)?

Sorry for the noobish questions, but it would be nice if you guys could help a noobie out.

I got a ms41.0 96 328i Coupe and recently bought MS41 quickflash

Sorry you are right! I just didn't know where to start, but it was my own fault.
Spend 3+ hours reading this entire thread and other stuff on this forum.
I understand it a bit better now I think.
I will be going with the 'safe' settings Pazi recommended. The only difference between my and Pazi's tune is the Decel settings which is really nice (afraid of messing something up when copy pasting settings).

If some things that are not clear for me I will be trying the search function for a couple of hours before asking.

I understand newbies like me are annoying af, will definitely fix my attitude :)
Thank you for not kicking me out yet.

Iv had a breakthrough now running MS41.2 and getting pops and bangs to activate when off throttle at high RPM.
The RPM Axis in deceleration tables that are relevant to making this action happen need to be raised higher in RPM, basically the highest point will pretty much activate when your pops and bangs happen. You can play with step size but i have still yet to do that, so far mine is happening when lifting throttle at high RPM now. you DO NOT need fuel restore on i will add but you will find this out for yourselves when playing. :)

i haven't, must be the reason why i was only getting pops and bangs at lower RPM when modding the decel tables with stock MS41 RPM axis.
I have always been able to make flames and pops on cue when triggering them but that was by modding my base Ignition and fuel maps as seen in previous video i posted a while ago.

Now i am using MS41.2 i have messed with more and found raising the RPM axis in decel has now worked for me The amount of fuel you need is minimal hence why so many people talking of activating fuel restore were not getting required results, when adding any additional fuel i was getting near nothing, perhaps to much cooling going on by the additional fuel. I am literally getting a nice deep bang/pop then couple of cracks on lift off at high RPM where i have a lot of retard but not extended crackles as i dont want that anyway.

Its all horse for courses but im happy with what i have now, i will mess some more :)

I might add this is purely all for fun, its not going to make me go any faster lol

Im just reading and reading and trying to do changese to deceleration for fast rev drop and popping on my ms41 to 41.2 and i just dont get it.
Probably the language barrier or something.
Could anybody add some pictures or a map for more understanding for me.
Im not lazy or something but its easyer to compare and learn for me like this.

Pazi88 post file with "no rev hang" some sites before.
Compare with yours and test. Maybe you need some changes. Not well values for B25 or B20 engines. But for B28 they work fine and you can fine tune them well.

Everything you've asked for(screenshots included) is already in this thread. It sounds like you just want someone to do it for you.

So I was able to get deceleration backfire/pop/bangs on my euro E36 328i by following pazi's recommendation a few pages back. I can upload my partial if anyone is interested.

However as many have said its only on decel after a few seconds of lifting off throttle and in the 2-4k RPM range.

I was wondering how to get the same effect but for immediate lift off throttle in high RPM.

Why not just change the base ignition map? Or does it switch to the decel tables too quickly?

I dont want to change it and blow anything up... Any thaught appreciated...
