Do you know where that bmw.bin comes from? It seems strange for me. Like it's slave part of mss54hp or something.

Reason I'm asking is because I'm just finishing first version of mss54 definition and I'm just trying to get my head around all this mss54/mss54hp version and master/slave bin madness.

SW1 and SW2 (slave and master) are MSS54HP.
Partial read v5.... is MSS54.

If you have stock 211322001701Jxxx reads I would be interested. That I the version I'm 90% done but I have no stock reads for that.

But the bin attached by lowlyfe1 is strange because the version number is in the middle of the bin. I have partials made with mss5x flash tool and in those the version number is at the end. Also the adresses match with the ones found on m3forum so I would think those reads are fine. And the bin by lowlyfe is version 211323001901Jxxx which at least m3forum says is mss54hp... But the file is 32kb

The reason why that bin by lowlyfe1 is important because it's only one my a2l etc. files match. And I'm forced to use it as base point.

EDIT also do you know if those 3 numbers after J in version number affect anything? If so I could differiate versions just by 1901, 1701 and so on..

Only MSS54 and MSS54HP use J as i saw. CSL had PD so think there are some differents.

Test it, its definitly MSS54. Not MSS54HP! Its J1501 but you are right sometime looks weird.
And had some problems after written them to get ecu to work again.

Yes it's like cut in half and end part of the bin is moved and at start. Or something

But I will put out the first definition out next week. Thanks to ba114 it waa yeasy to do because I could use the mss52 definition as starting point.

If someone had time and would be nice xml guy , i have definition files for all sw-versions.

I have those too Currently working on adding versions to RR definitions, but I have million other things to do also, so progress is slow.

New season new project. MSS54HP will be get CSL Software upgrade also with H-Bridge for flap control of original CSL Airbox .
end last year (standard engine) car only produce 325Ps and nearly 340Nm . And yes dyno limiter problems ... corrected before but series fuel, vanos, ignition ... . Will se what we got after.
