Been doing some work in the background to start defining MSS52 maps in RomRaider.
I want to make it clear, that only variant 1601 will be officially supported as that is the version i have. There may be other versions that share the same map locations i.e. 1501, but as i'm not examining that version, i wont be supporting it. You will need to upgrade/downgrade as appropriate to ensure the same variant is used by all.

The definitions will be managed on github as that will allow me greater flexibility in managing contributions:
https://github.com/ba114/MSS52

This thread will be updated as new maps/contributions are merged into the master.

Attached is the partial and full reads from a 2000 e39 M5 which is being used for the analysis

Thanks for this stuff.
DTC Tables are huge maybe you will work on this for more easy work it em.
If some need a fullread for this version ... attached fullread and also partial.

DTC tables were built this way for 2 main reasons.
1. All DTCs are clustered together in the binary, which made it simpler to build the initial table.
2. There are several methods to delete each DTC as mentioned in the table description I.e. method 1 might work for some, but for example Rear O2 might need method 3 in order to display obd readiness. Once they can all be tested for the best way, I might split them out into switches.

ba114, you're the man. Thank you for this. I may send you a couple PRs. I'm also on 1601, I've built out a TunerPro software XDF a fair amount but I'm slowly switching to RomRaider, some TunerPro software stuff has really been frustrating me lately.

hmmmm i've also replicated this error, although there's no description to guide what the cause could be.

You need to fix this line in the definition:
Code:
<table type="Switch" name="Sport Mode Memory" category="Config Switches" sizey="2" userlevel="5">

sizey should be 1 not 2.

Is it ok to add other sw versions to the definition file, or do I keep those my own information?

I would like to keep this restricted to 1601 please. If you have definitions for other maps you would like added, let me know and i'll find them in the 1601 damos for adding.

I don't really have need for other maps. I have just made some work for other SW versions, because I don't feel confident doing full flash version changes to 15-17k cars that I don't own. Editing partial is much safer :D
