Hi can someone dig out Wastegate Solenoid Pulse Frequency for A8DH100M, A8DH200V and AZ1G101M (just found it is c009a)?

Thanks in advance

Try C026A for both A8DH100M, A8DH200V.

Quick hex search suggest these are it.

nice, ill be following your updates. My corksport thingy is very similar with the mac bullet valve. But i wont be dabbling back into wastegate tuning until spring when im back on e85. I just run wastegate pressure 18-19psi on pump gas and my cars pretty weather dependant

Right, I saw all your updates and that you’ve been messing with it for awhile now.

Did a little investigation on tuning it for other platforms and the Corksport site mentions reducing WGDC by 40% yet no mention of frequency recommendations. I figure I’ll set it just above default at 17Hz and start there.

Thanks!!!

31hz worked a treat on a PIERBURG 3 PORT.

Great to hear.

Thanks for closing the loop.

Might have to tinker myself, have the same BCS.....

what car/ecu have you been working with? was shared a link from cobb explaining there troubles with 02-05 ecus. Think i might try and go back to 15hz for another round of heartache. Also going to put the wastegate port to Common this time instead of NO.

2005 FXT (32-bit). EBCS Pro install still pending. Can you provide the Cobb documentation so I can review it?

Interesting. Collective experience suggests this might be the case also for carberry rom.
Now we need a hacker to patch in the same wgdc/td change mentioned in bulletin to carberry rom as well. Any volunteers?

No idea! But a quick google search should be able to track down a place to obtain one. (I know you've already gone and got your pro EBCS). Alternatively, PM me and I can point you in the right direction.

From the article it's not clear whether your ECU would be affected or not, your post suggests to me that it's working OK (would have to check code). You won't get much more than heat and/or comp surge from a VF48 above 19psi anyhow, particularly if you're attempting to do that at high RPM.

What are your 16-bit skills like trez0r? Mine are sadly lacking!

Thanks, @terryjr & @The Lorax.

The issue doesn’t affect my ECM so I think I’m good there. I believe changing the Hz is working correctly as the WGDC % clearly had to be lowered as Hz was raised in order for boost to approach target boost.

I don’t really plan on going above ~19.5 PSI on the VF48 until the topfeed rails and bigger injectors are installed. Others have pushed the VF48 to ~23 PSI on E85 before diminishing returns set in (too much heat, not much power increase, etc.). One guy said he pushed as much as 28 but it was completely choked out and gains were minimal.

Anyway, I looked over the EBCS Pro install guide and planned out the installation for later this morning. Already prepared a tune starting at 17 Hz, even though the recommended starting point is 20 Hz. Starting a bit lower mainly due to @terryjr’s feedback with his custom bullet solenoid.

No worries.

Are you running pump fuel or e85? Wasn't sure. Yes, you might be able to get a bit more out of it on e85.

Also need to be mindful of how much exhaust manifold pressure you're building, with small turbine housing and WG.

Right now I’m on E25. I’ve run as much as E40 but started throw lean codes, so I dialed it back. I have a larger (2.0”) UP to help reduce drive pressure pre-turbine across the RPM range.

Turbine inlet is also opened up slightly (comparison showing mine on left vs. stock VF48 on right):

Theoretically with these two flow enhancements, it should handle 23 PSI easily. Not addressing the exhaust manifold itself until later, along with designing a custom TMIC and hot piping that flow better than the huge AMR TMIC I threw in just to keep IATs down.

Also ordered a Turbosmart IWG75 to add to the mix.

Time to get that EBCS Pro installed!
