Howdy. I've got myself an AUDM FXT (my name isn't obvious) that I've jammed a vf34 into after the Uppipe shat itself and minced my td04... The stock map is, tbh, garbage and I've only got experience with tuning from Gran Turismo... It's a common swap, but I'm also (not really) blind so searching for a map is pointless. It's the ej255, single AVCS (intake, duh), stock headers, gutted stock Uppipe (it's not eating another turbo I tell you h'wat), gutted stock downpipe (for good measure), stock midpipe(?) With factory cat (I'll piss it off with a high flow sometime soon if that helps...) Into a lil baby resonator (no idea what type, the auction I bought it from wasn't good for specifics) into your traditional civic special muffler with a pretty tip. Not sure what the size is (think it's 2.5 inch? The pipe I mean, not the tip. That's just because Wangan) but I've kept it nice and stock thinking the headers and turbo back should be fine, especially with those shonky cats removed, considering its (insert size here) and the STI's the vf34 came on seemed to make pretty good use of it. Sorry if I sound like a complete rookie about Subaru's, I'm a mitsi man. But I popped the head on my Satrian GTI and the forester seemed logical, considering it cost me 4k AUD (hEaDgAsKeTs ThO, nEaT!)

Any help modifying this dodgy stock map or a nice 98 octane vf34 map would be appreciated. I'm not paying some bloke from Noosa $1k for a locked flash tune when I can use the power of the internet and some stupidity to get the same result, just with quicker engine death and no warranty :D

Thanks y'all,
J3D

I assume by the Noosa reference you're in SEQ? :)

I can help you using my VF41 FXT rom tuned for SEQ conditions as a base, but it will need to be modified a bit for your particular setup first.

Firstly, have you got yourself a Tactrix and taught yourself how to pull the stock rom in ECU Flash and also log in RomRaider? Unless you can do both then helping you remotely is kinda hard.

Cheers

Thanks for the quick response. Yeah, I've got a tactrix cable on its way (express at Chrissie wasn't a wise investment...) And know the basics of the software through reading. I'm going to pull the stock tune when I've got everything back together (still up on stands  ). Pretty much anytime remotely close to my garden shed set up would be nice just so I don't lean out and melt my fragile pistons. as much as i love a good fireworks show I'd prefer it not to be under the bonnet. Thank you kindly for your help.

Cool, well shoot me a PM when you've got it back together and running, and I'll help you work with the stock tune to get it up to scratch.

You will be holding back that vf34 using the factory exhaust pieces, even if they are de-catted. But we can work with whatever you are running if you are dead set on running the factory exhaust.
