Working along side someone i have had a major success this week, pops, bangs, flames from any RPM, all the way from 7000rpm down.
So far the pops and bangs are continuous so it is pretty annoying but will work on the tables when have more time to try and achieve same effect only between gear changes for a limited amount of time.

Will update soon with a video going up tonight :)

Is there a way of delaying the time it take for the fueling to cut off when in decel, Dont want to use the "Fuel Restore" as then is what is creating the continual pops and bangs, Only needing it for limited time.

Hmm. My 328is with S52 cams, M50 manifold, and tune crackles like that all the time. My S52 M Coupe, and other M3's, I've never heard do so.

I'll have to drop the muffler off (M3 muffler quiets it too much) and take a video. It crackles and sounds great. The tune didn't have any of those edited.

Yes, please do!

Also, these tables are used in conjunction with the Acceleration/Deceleration Detection tables. If you disable Fast Negative Deceleration, you'll keep the fuel injectors on for a while. Otherwise, they'll shut off.

The Acceleration/Deceleration Detection tables determine whether the Positive, Negative, or Fast Negative Throttle tables are used.

To get exhaust crackes, we need to keep the fuel on and retard ignition timing. So disable "Fast Negative Throttle" detection and use the "Ignition Retard - Slow Negative Throttle (Closed)" to retard timing as necessary.

something like this?

yes it’s posted way early on in this thread. Back then we were decreasing the time it takes.

Any way to make the exhaust burble for just a couple of seconds, instead of constant?

Leave the "Fuel Restore - RPM" tables stock (around the 1100 RPM range) and increase the "RPM Hystersis (Maximum)" to a value that is sufficiently high. For example, if "Fuel Restore - RPM" is at 1100 RPM and 'Fuel Cut - Hystersis (Max)' is set to 6900, then the effective Fuel Restore RPM is 8000 immediately after the throttle is closed. After a programmable delay, the ECU will switch to the 'Hystersis - (Min)' value (160 stock) so the effective Fuel Restore RPM will be 1100 plus 160 = 1260 after a short time.

Then adjust the "Fuel Cut - Hystersis Delay Counter" to your preference. Increase value (240 injection cycles is stock) to have the exhaust burble for longer. This value is set to 240 when throttle is closed and is slowly decremented while the throttle is closed but engine speed is below the 'effective Fuel Restore RPM'. Once this delay runs out, the engine speed will be above the effective FR RPM and the injectors will shut off.

Hello!

You will see guys, recently I got my vehicle to make the famous Pop Corn modifying: Fuel Restore - RPM, Ignition Retard - Decreasing TPS, Ignition Retardd - Decreasing TPS (Closed), Ignition Retard - Decreasing TPS - Step Size and Ignition Retard - Decreasing TPS - Step Size (ECT Compensation).
And as I know that many people who come here do not understand many of the things that are discussed to achieve this, I leave some pictures of the modified tables, with the boxes that I have modified for my 28i.

In Fuel Restore, I have modified all the parameters:

In Ignition Retard - Decreasing TPS, these:

In Ignition Retard - Decreasing TPS (Closed), I have modified all the parameters:

I know there will be better ways to do it. I am open to all kinds of advice from professionals.

And I ask advice from here to the professionals, well, once this is done, I would like it not to keep on slugging all the time since you release the accelerator, I would like it to hold a few seconds, 3, 4 ... seconds, and end ,
since in the long run it is already very annoying so much backbiting.

A hug to everyone and thanks for your help.

Excuse me, I must be blind. So changing the values of Fuel Restore from 7040 to 1100 and modifying the Hysteris should be worth it, right?

Yup. You should keep stock fuel restore and modify hysteris, but effect is random.

I have other question. Which way to make pops is best? By Retard Ignition Base or by edit deceleration tables like pazi88 do that?

I achieved pops but they are too silent. I forgot about something else or need to raise more TPS values? I have catalyst and straight pipe rear exhoust

Left is modified, right stock. m52b25
