Hello all, long time no post but doing a tune for friend of friend and was wondering if anyone has ever flashed a A4RG060P ecu with a
A4RN300I ecu bin that I did a full tune on. They look identical when I open them.
Can the A4RN300I tune be written to the A4RN300I ecu in the car, or will it kill the ecu.
Thanks.

do a test flash, and during the first sequence when it is comparing blocks/chunks, if the first two come up as identical, then you can probably flash it.

Thanks,
The main reason was the original tune comes up with errors when opening, and after searching on here the problem is with the ecu definition xml file, the code in it needs to be replaced with this bit,

<table name="Catalyst Readiness Threshold Fix A" storageaddress="0x2BBFD" />
<table name="Catalyst Readiness Threshold Fix G" storageaddress="0x2BC0E">
<state name="off" data="03 33 03 33 05 33 07 33 09 9A" />
</table>
<table name="Misfire CEL Fix (P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304)" storageaddress="0x2D49F">
<state name="off" data="14 01 04 FF 04 64 FF 14" />
</table>

Do you know how I can do this exactly, that is the 3 errors it comes up with when opening bin file.
I tried doing it in notepad but it will not let me save it, I am not sure how to edit the xml file to put this code in.
