Hey guys,
I've been traveling for work and just got back around to this. When I flash the car with a modified map (just the rev limiter to keep it simple and validate function) I get a p0605 dtc for ROM error. I clear the code and the rev limiter works as I set it but the ECU faults on start up every time. Looks like this is a checksum issue. When I compare the 2 bin files in wols the sum and xor are the same even though they should be different..

Code:

Romraider should calculate and update the checksum automatically on saving correct? Or am I just not doing it right?

Are you using that build of RR that includes checksums ? the main download (0.59 RC something) doesn't have it

Hello, I downloaded the zip and when trying to launch the batch file, I get an error saying "the system cannot find the file specified". Please help !!!

Did you extract the contents of the zip prior to running the .bat?

hello, yes I did! I moved the whole folder to system32 and it worked somehow... Thanks anyway !!

nissandefs.xml from "murphys_law" and "a33b" , why different latency units? Milliseconds... Microseconds

murph' has not maintained his repo for a long time, and a lot has happened since that, in particular the release of that ZB060 A2L file.

In this case a33b's def has that parameter described as "mTS14VZ ..." which is straight from the A2L.

The A2L, gives the following scaling for that param:

/begin COMPU_METHOD COMP_0231 "10μS" RAT_FUNC "%8.2" "μS" COEFFS 0 1 0 0 0 10 /end COMPU_METHOD

So, I would definitely trust a33b's repo over murph's in cases like these.

Strongly disagree, the murph' (with the right) value is correct, the a33b' (from left) is understating by 2 times the well-known tuner developers

Alexander, hello. Tuners have long been identified with "Injector Minimum Pulse Width". Now I observe that the choice was made in the direction of halved value.

My repo is going to be defined by the best source of info available, which is currently the A2L. It wouldn't be the first time the well known tuner developers made a mistake. See the last 15 years of ignition timing as an example.
