Hi guys
Please excuse my basic as hell questions
2002 Wrx , road and regular track car
What I’d like is
1, Cyclic/ rotational idle just for the sound. 2, Antilag, for the noise 3. Lots of turbo noises
I would be very happy with Rotational idling alone
Now I have zero experience of mapping mayself, although I am keen to learn and try it
I do all my own spanner work on my wrx, my other cars and motorcycles
My car has been remapped on a dyno to approx 280bhp. Still on standard turbo and injectors but updated fuel pump. It has a 3 port boost solenoid
Can rotational idle be done fairly easily for starters?
Thanks

You could pop back to your tuner and ask for the map to be done with carberry which would allow for some funky idle, antilag and map switching. If that's not an option then you could try and convert your existing rom/tune over to a carberry rom tune but for a first timer with no current tuning experience there's a lot of potential for things to go wrong.
Problem you have is your car has been professionally tuned so you can't just pop the rom here for someone to help you with and the group-N features aren't simply just a patch you fling on and away you go.

Thanks
Could I not just buy any required hardware/software and upload someone’s reliable map which would include R idling+ anti lag etc?
Thanks

you could but unless your car was also running their engine/intake/exhaust the settings may not be a 100% match - like buying 2nd hand carpet you can't always be sure it will fit perfectly.
With some time spent reading and learning, a wideband o2 sensor and something to check for knock then you could tweak someone elses map to suit your setup no problems.

Thanks.
So where do the Wideband sensor go on a Subaru exhaust?

you can put it in place of the rear o2 sensor or have an additional bung added on the downpipe.
