Hi! I am newbie, today I finally read my ecu and open it with RR. I have been looking for some information which tables should I change on ms42 to make my exhaust pop but I couldnt understand. If someone have pictures of changed maps I Will be very thankfull!

For some reason I never had to look for how to make my exhaust make pops and bangs, it all occurs naturally lol. Maybe that's because of my setup (no cats, stock E39TU headers, 1st resonator stock but sounding hollow)...

Yeah that's bit strange. Some cars have decel pops even with factory tune and some don't. In one Z3 there was lot of popping when lifting thorttle. And just for curiosity I tested that tune in my e39 which has almost identical setup and nothing. Completely silent when lifthing thorttle. Just horrific rev hang.

I am trying to make my tables as theese but I can t find the tables...

You may have old ecu definition file. Also don't tune fullreads. Only partials.

I'm suspecting that it has something to do with my lambda integrators showing peak (positive) activity near idle. Which in itself might be due to my MAF sensor not being stock (it's a 2.0l turbo volvo v40's) but it's just a guess.

Hi,

Is it only those 4 windows that you have to made changes to for "pop&bang" ?

Richard mention something about exhaust ?

my file has slighty diffrent values of mg/stroke axis, is it posible to change it so it will look same as yours ?

You can change the axis. But it wont affect the pop mod.
