hi guys,
i want to make pop and bang on my car. i read the topic for deceleration,it is very nice explained, but i don´t want to try something out and damage my car.
so my question is, can somebody help me doing ignition timing and other things to achieve the pop and bangs , or does somebody have instructions for it ?

my car is a e39 520i

thanks

Got bored of the pops and bangs, cause everybody in my town is running them
I've managed to get pretty nice results recently with flame exhaust
Im pretty happy with it but still working on consistency, it shots flames but i think it happens too occasionally under load.
Tried to work on dashpot, setting it from 40% to 100% and the difference is barely noticeable
I feel like to shot flames while shifting we need to make the tables kick faster somehow?

Has somebody improved the results here? Or would like to work on it to make it spit flames like in turbo supras? XD

exhaust here is little too restricted, straight pipe surelly would make it better

@328i-sport-rossi counting on you

I also got bored of the pops and bangs and i ended up with a tune that consistenly produced big pops and bangs along with flames anywhere on the rev range, but to get bangs and flame on gear change i found the only way was to work with the base timing and fueling table, add a little fuel in high RPM cells on the first two rows along with around -14 Timing int he same cells.

Hi everybody

I applied the settings of a member (page 23) who owns like me a m52b20 to get the pop & bang
after applying the .bin I do not hear much pop & bang (my M52 is in automatic gearbox)
I specify that my catalyst is empty

Can someone help me to improve this problem?

Retard your low load columns 30~70 in ignition map to - 19.,and set fuel cut overun at 7000rpm @ 60/90C, and you Will get flames with a straight pipe http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5d7279a8e1449/VID-20190728-WA0022.mp4

Should I add the tables you say to those ones which I have showed or only to edit the ones you said? Also I am only finding the ignition retard tables I cant find the fuel cut overrun table I am with v0. 43 ecu Def the v0. 44 thoesent shows up. Thank you!

Anyone tried retard ignition in base ignition map at limiter range (last row of the table) for pops when hit limiter, when the accelerator pedal is pressed?

Thats what happens when modding the base fuel table, you only gain pops and bangs by tapping throttle on decel, You need to go into deleration table and apply high RPM "i.e 7000rpm " to the fuel restore table to keep the fuel going while decelerating, it doesnt stop there though as this alone will not give pops and bangs, you need to retard timing within the decel tables also.
All of the answers are here, you just need trial and error.

Set fuel restore to 7000, like in the first table of my screenshot. If it still doens't overun fuel cut there maybe is a problem with your TPS sensor or something else wich could cause the car not to detect decel
