Im having an issue with 2007 EDM WRX STI. Using Andea's MerpMod 32bit ROM A8DK100Z.

Minimum ignition timing flats out to 15 degrees from 2.2g/rev and starts building up from there around 3.11g/rev, unless there's knock corrections applied. Base timing values in the ROM are much lower than that. Changing base timing table does not have a effect. Seems like ECU is not using ignition map that I have loaded on the ECU. I tried reflashing stock ROM, but timing still flats out at 15 degrees from 2.2g/rev, unless there's knock corrections applied. Can't find out where's the issue.

Timing hack enabling didn't change a thing.

Merpmod and stock ROM logged attached. MerpMod ROM also attached.

What's the value in your 'minimum timing' table?

Initial base timing idles (in-gear and neutral) were 17 degrees. Change them to 10 degrees without any effect.
There's no other minimum timing tables in the ROM, that I could find.

Are you able to attach the definitions you're using for this patch so we can open your tune on our end?

hi There!:

Look at engine load parameter... with this rom it maxed at 2.15 so ignition timing tables at full boost take 2.15 cells timing.

Hi!

Only engine load parameter I can see in the ROM is Engine Load Limit (Maximum) which is 4 g/rev initially. I tried setting it higher without any change in timing. Which parameter are you referring to?
