After the help of Fabio who made RomRaider Definition file for this ecu I started reading and looking how to tune my e36. The modification firstly I wanted to try was pop and bang. After reading and comparing defs for this ecu and defs for ms41,42 found that it in motronic there are not any ignition retard maps which are the main source for this tune I think. Is it possible to achieve something with changing the maps which Fabio defined? Thanks

Thanks Try these settings, should shoot big bangs from exhaust if you go to Rev and then touch Gas Pedal while decceleration, make sure You don't have Catalytic Converter Attachment: flames.png Of course You have to fix checksum before flash, maybe tomorrow i will make auto-checksum or something like that. Post results.

Maybe with these settings will work. Should I add something more?

Try these settings and report, remember Rev it up example to 5000RPM and while deccelerating Tip on the Gas Pedal a little. Attachment: m50 backfire map.png

guys i still have this problem with b25 tune i tried with different b25 bins and sw the result is always one of thoose 2 map (sw 098,599,949) ... its working great with b20 but why not with b25 ??? even i tried b20 sw 098 and b25 sw 098 same rslt maybe adresses between b20 and b25 are not the same ? because i think its seems strange to have such values any explanation plz ?

Bosch ECUs do not use the fuel maps that we used to see on Siemens ECUs. Bosch uses a completely different principle for calculating the injection time - in the firmware there is an injector performance factor (different for b20 and b25) and the parameter "desired AFR". The ECU receives data from MAF and translates it into LOAD (ms) values, which is used as the X axis on maps. The maps you are comparing are the correction factor to the estimated injection time to get the desired AFR at different loads. 128 - coefficient "1" (no correction) Values greater than 128 - more fuel; less than 128 - less fuel Therefore, you do not see much difference in these maps
