Won't work. B28 is limited the same way.

To unleash m52tub25 you have to use m54b22/25 intake system, exhaust and copy all important maps from MS43 b25 tune to ms42, or convert to DBW and ms43. Either case, don't use this thread.

I'm gonna ask here because i just cant found any files from UK or RHD of the MS42.

I'm looking for a stock file from 320I E46 RHD

Was to be RHD because the exhaust configuration, the cats are underfloor with the same headers as M52 engine (yes this exists from factory on the m52tu and m54 engines in the UK version).

Why i'm looking this, because there are many diferences in the files from the M54B22 LHD to RHD mainly related to the catalytic heat, ignition, injection and etc.

I want to discover and compare files to the normal cat (manifold cats) and report to the MS4X comunnity the diferences like already found on the MS43.

So if someone have stock files from those please post it.

Or if someone in UK with an RHD car with the cats underfloor like those please post.

That file i need isnt present on the WINKFP...

I have checked many SP-Datens...

search for ZUSB 7545424 in winkfp. That is the latest version for your ECUs

Yep misread, forgot i was in MS42 forum and you continued to bounce around different engine models and ECU versions in your post. I simply went to the last production date for e46 320i which did change over to MS43 when it changed from the M52 to M54 engine in late 1999.

You can cut out the attitude though, people make mistakes.

Based on this, 7528764 might actually be for cars with cats in the headers. The ZUSB you want in winkfp is 7528766. Have you looked for that?

The 7528766 you mentioned its for low compression models and EU2

The catalytic in the description got: RP-catalytic conv. with center muffler EU3

Kinda pain in the ass to understand bmw software diferences with those descriprions...

The thing is, was to be another software... from the LHD to RHD because the type of Cat, like in the M54 engines...

Ok after digging for a few hours i understand the diferences of the systems and tunes.

In my case/car i got this from stock its an E46 320i from 99 LHD.

12147528776 this tune its same for ''EU2 exhaust emissions standard'' and ''Catalyzer preparation'' this means you can run no cats with it (cat-preparation) or if you have EU2 cats (those on the manifold) the tune fits ok.

Checking the available cats on my car i fount this:

So the tune EU2 fits with the cats description, and those are the only cats available in the LHD version.

I found this configuration exists on the M54B30 RHD too..

In the very first units the configuration its exactly the same...catless headers and underfloor cats until 9/2000.

After that they put 4 cats on the RHD version.

I will digg bit longer and compare more models to see that and will update this reply.
