Do I understand correctly that you can connect LSU4.9 directly to the second O2 input without using a broadband probe controller?

No... It is impossible as ECU would need additional hardware to be able to directly use LSU4.2/4.9.

I think so too. And in your opinion, can I connect the signal from the lambda probe controller to the input which currently sees the 5V voltage without connecting the source? The controller has an analog output, which is also connected to the LCD display. I wonder if this is just a program read or an internal physical connection. Could someone check the MS41.0 driver for what the other 02 sees when the input is not connected? I have two MS41 861 and both behave the same except that one is on the MS41.2 software.

What settings have you tried so far in MS41.3?

Set the IRRL target to a value well below your Fuel Cut target. Then adjust the amount of IRRL Retard %. -100% is the most retard.

Note, the IRRL target is just that a TARGET. It does not guarantee rev limiting at that RPM. That's why you have to set the Fuel Cut target to something well out of reach, so the ECU doesn't have to cut fuel to not exceed its Fuel Cut target.

Thats all about Rev-Limiting with Ignition Cut not Fuel Cut Like i have at the moment (even with SIR enabled) :(
With SIR its like Constant Fire (flame thrower) instead Bouncing Big Bangs like in video.

At the moment SIR is similar to this

Notice I said IRRL and not SIR...

https://sites.google.com/site/openms41/ ... nition-cut

#1 = IRRL
#2 = SIR

I should add that the stock Fuel Cut limiter is always there to override if RPM exceeds its values.

Oh i get it, ideal solution would be override Fuel Cut which is in "Limiters" so You could change it to Ignition Cut Limiter and set it up by Vehicle Speed and RPM Limit 8)

I pay honor. My doubt was unnecessary. Today I dared to connect MAP and AFR to the inputs. The inputs work properly, after calibration the sensor values show the same as my external device - I log in to both. The values are in line with reality. So it works.
By the way I looked at my engine harness and it turned out that the ECU plug lacks pins for the probes behind the catalyst, MIL lights and the Evap presure sensor. Therefore, using these inputs is not possible at the moment.

Thanks for testing and feedback! Glad it works!

Actually, the way I have programmed it currently is more ideal than replacing the Fuel limiter. Having IRRL + stock limiter lets you keep a safety net since fuel limiting guarantees engine will not overrev. Cutting ignition may not prevent overrev in certain conditions.

If you want to 'DISABLE' the factory fuel limiter, just set their targets to 8200 RPM...

Then set IRRL to -100% retard, set a target RPM and drive around in gear at WOT. See how many people you can scare to death. Then you'll see how well the existing code works...

I was in the lucky draw to be a part of this test crew, sadly a ecu brick and my laptop death right after the new ecu arrived set me back quite a while.
I ordered today a 0-5v ethanol adapter from the states, I hope I'll be able to bring some added value to this.
Sorry for the delay

Tested today with -100% and IRRL set up at 6300 and Fuel cut ar 6500, works like 335i 2step as i said before. I guess it will not work like in video i posted because it doesnt do what i bolded in Your post. 2step rev limit should cut Ignition instead Fuel.

I did that but nothing happened don't know why still testing

So if Fuel Limiter is set to 6500 RPM
Set IRRL to 5500 RPM.

Then run the test...

Then set IRRL to 4500 RPM

Then run the test again...

Post datalogs.

IRRL
Ignition Cut Rev Limiter set at 6400rpm
Stock Fuel Limiter set at 6500rpm
Ignition Retard -100%

if i set more difference like 7000rpm fuel cut and 6400rpm ignition cut i t never bounce and effect is the same as SIR.

Now analyzing my video from home i see a lot black smoke maybe -100% retard was too much.
