That’s a fair comment. I’ve adjusted the rpm to 1500rpm but it still hits 2000rpm on start up.others also think there is other tables not found .I must admit this is way over my head .

Really I need help here. I have ida and started following this link below for the Format16bitrom.idc. Is this something I download ? im stuck on number 6 to format the a copy of a Rom

I've created two scripts to help decode 16bit ROMs in IDA.
Source: Format16bitROM.idc

Here are the steps:
1.You will not need to convert your 160kb ROM to 192kb, either size can be opened and formatted by this process.
2.Open your ROM with IDA.
3.Change the processor type to Motorola Series: 6816.
4.No need to define a RAM segment just click OK to proceed.
5.Under the IDA File menu select Script file (Alt-F7)
6.Select the script named Format16bitROM.idc
7.Read the warning and press Yes to proceed formatting the ROM

Take a step back from of all of this for a moment and think about the real issues.

Is your car driveable and running? If it is then your map is fine and needs to be tuned.

I feel like your not listening to the advice given here and how you should really be proceeding and it makes people not want to help.

If you had a car that didn't have a map that was usable then that would be different. But you do seem to have that and so you need to learn how to tune the map.

Now we have no issues helping with that but you need to be willing to listen to our advice.
Yes the car is running. It seems some cars have tables that I don’t have obviously because the car is different.I’m listening alright. If people don’t want to help then that’s fine. I don’t mind at all . Because for one I’m into minds if I should go standalone or not. I’m not the tuner, I’m not a programmer , I’m a technician at a car dealership, yes I’m willing to learn something. Yes if it’s there can it be defined so I can use it , it would save me a lot of time as well . It would appear they haven’t been defined.

This is not a rant by any means . If I Carnt find the answers I’m looking for . Then maybe yeah I should give up and go standalone. Below is the only tables I have to change the rpm for cold start and it’s not enough. If I did have them I wouldn’t be asking questions. If you don’t ask questions you don’t find anything out .

Going standalone in a nutshell would be easier . I wouldn’t be messing trying to look for things which may or maybe not there .

So I’m gonna make a post in the Subaru section now to ask if such things exists

Well first why are you using ECUFlash? Why are you not using Romaider?

You are looking at coolant temps for idle. You aren't looking at idle targets depending on load and such.

But yes make a proper post with the map your using as well as the issues your working through and what you are trying to achieve.

So I'm using Ecuflash because well theres no actual reason why.It was what I was shown ,maybe it was preference.

Romraider was used for logging by myself only and to show my tuner the logs so the tune could be modified .

Ive never tried bringing my rom over to romraider ,is there a benefit form it?

The tables above are the only actual things I seem to have for idle targets .

So it would assume then if that's all I have then maybe there is more tables not defined ? again I'm not a tuner or a programmer but that's why Romraider is here is it not? to ask questions ,share info, help one another ,learn things and share experiences ,well that's what my thoughts are anyway.

I shall start a new post
