Did anyone working with 32 bit ROMS find routines or code referencing a minimum IAM value ? I'm just curious if any engine functionality is disabled by IAM being below a certain value.

there are some tables which will disable their logic based off the advance multiplier being below a threshold, such as wastegate duty control.
then there is high knock/low knock conditions, to which your advance multiplier could have an effect on
look at any table that references IAM and read the table description

Thanks that's great to know. I'm not an XDA or disassembly guy but heard conjecture that the multiplier could affect other functions so good to have this confirmed. If further examples become apparent please let us know.
