Hello!
as the title says - how to raise manifold pressure more than 255kpa?
Target boost map allows maximum value of 255, and that is in kpa. 255 - 100 atmospheric is around 22.5 psi, I would like to squeeze out little more than that.
How to do it? Do I have to edit boost pressure control valve maps? Or boost sensor scaling needs to be changed? And what about boost limit maps?
This is for E5 2010 Subaru diesel.

There are differend kinds of ways, witch has differend kind of effects, but at the end all provides more airmass inside the combustmend camber:
1) chance factor of base charge air pressure map:
advantages: only one map to chance. ECU works with linear boost extension, no need to chance pressure limits for error detection. Very good for boost-pressure calculaion.
dis-advantages: charge air pressure set- and actual value for SSM-logging are limitied to 255kPa, so you don“t see boost pressure behaviour. ECU-parameter can diplay "real" boost pressure, but needs to be read by UDS Mode0x23 in EURO5 Diesels, witch RomRaider does not support yet. Also ECU-Parameter adress are not known jet
This way works perfect in EURO4 Impreza dumps and is supported by RomRaider on SSM-III
2) chance charge air pressure sensor calibration
advantages: "normal" logging with SSM is possible, but needs to be adapted lineare boost extension is possible
dis-advantages: needs a compleate recale of ALL boost-pressure and boost-pressure releated maps, as well as limits for error detection. needs to recale pressure calculation in SSM logging.
RomRaider supports allready this way of extions for PARIA-diesel-maps (P301 and P302) upto 301kPa, witch is more then enought for stock turbo.
Develloped both ways. 1) is perfect for EURO4 Diesel, 2) is a workable work-around for EURO5 but needs a lot more work

thank you for information.
maybe you can add step-by-step instructions for method 2.?
My idea was - if I have boost pressure base map set at 255kpa with stock scaling (66.661 multiplier and 33.331 offset) 255kpa is when sensor reads ~3.33 volts (pressure=multiplier*volts+offset)
if I change multiplier to 60.661 pressure at 3.33 volts would be ~235kpa which means ECU would raise boost to 255kpa (3.6volts). and if scaling is changed by ~10%, boost increase also should be ~10% which would be ~280kpa.
Am I right or totaly wrong?

Here is my stock impreza 2.0. euro 5. JZ4A211C. definitions are on the forum. i have only 109hp tho, which is complete and utter BS. so if you have a 150hp rom to share with the gang, it would be greatly appreciated
