There's a separate set of tables for TGV closed ignition and AVCS to try and optimise the reduced flow and there are some gains to be had on fuel economy - if you can keep the throttle/rpm/load within the TGV closed thresholds.
I've also been trying to find out if TGVs are binary. Are they open/close only? Or can they be held at any position?
