Has anyone figured out how to log knock correction values on ms42? I can log knock sensor voltage only which means absolutely nothing to me. I’m about to boost my e46

for some reason I can open LTV tables only on stock bin (ms41 id41), as soon as I change the file at least by one bit, LTV tables do not open

Looks like the logger definitions have now been updated to perform custom telegram logging!

Make sure update RR to version 0.7 aswell.

Gents, sorry for maybe odd qustion here but Im facing an issue when trying to launch logger both on car and bench connecton - there is simply no dropdown with COM selection (just empty box). always used testo for logging, so my first try of RR logger fails...
Can anyone push me to find solution?
tks

Why there is now such big jump on IPW numbers? What from 0,04 to 0,053 ? Which numbers i should use for calculating injector duty cycle?

Try logging with DS2 protocol rather than Subaru, unless you are logging a Subaru.

Read the ECU definition Release Notes linked to from the first post in that thread...

If you already did, what do you not understand? The new formula is the correct one hence why it was changed to...

You mean this ? :

Quote:
v0.45.7 - Fixed formula for ECT/IAT Ignition Timing Compensation Multiplicative & Injector Pulsewidths (0.004 to 0.0053)

Ive looked into MS42 and MS43 definitions which use this formula also. So all calculations of duty cycle was wrong :(

I was trying to wire up an obd2 connector for datalogging in the cabin and it seems like my EWS has the kline missing (probably a ghetto way to delete EWS done by the shop which did the engine previously)

Are there any alternative K-line signals I can pull from easily from within the cabin? or do I have to get it off the ECU harness pin 88? Thanks and sorry for the noob question

Try to chase that purple and white kline from your harness cover that leads through the firewall under the driver kick panel. Make sure its not snipped if not pull on the wire to see if its loose if it is, pull it all the way out and reroute to you ews module and re pin it where it was removed from cause youre going to need your ews module to start the car. Once wired solder a wire to the kline that will lead to your female ob2 connector to its appropriate pin.
