Im trying to get this to work. i have a 2006 usdm sit and I'm trying to figure out how to get flex fuel, rotational idle, and antilag working. i just cant seem to be able to figure out how to get from raider and ecu flash to show any of the merpmod options. if it helps my ecu is A2ZJE11J

Doesn’t seem dead to me. I just learned how to do this by reading the references here on this site in the last 3 months. I worked with a member here to get my ROM ported.

Try downloading sharptune if you have a ported ROM. It will take some effort...

What you require is here.

There is no freely available patch that has rotational idle or antilag for 32bit ROMs.

The above link supports SD, flex fuel, launch control and other features.

Have you got the appropriate definition files in the correct location for ECUFlash or RR?

If you want features to bring your turbo to an early demise, you can try here.

Hello,

I’m relatively new to the merpmod and although I have read the instructions on how to patch and open the rom. I’m at the point where I have patched successfully a stock rom A8DH100F and I tried to open in on ecu flash with the non-merpmod definitions and that resulted on opening only the stock tables and nothing from the patch. I could see that the new parts have been added when I clicked to view the hidden tables on ecuflash. Then I downloaded the merpmod defs and pointed the ecuflash to the specific folder for ecuflash and forester xt I selected the appropriate def when I tried to open it but then it displayed only the new tables grayed out again and non of the stock.

Anyone experiencing the same issue ?

I will post the defs and rom that I’m using later.

Thank you in advance

On EcuFlash, click on File, Options then User Level. Pick Developer.

Tuning a 05 STI USDM on a MerpMod A2ZJB11J patch. Everything is working great for idle and cruise, but now getting into boost and it's hitting a boost/fuel cut (like a rev limit). From the logs it doesn't appear to be fuel cut, but it's definitely stopping around 4300 RPM. I think it may have to do with the areas of the MerpMod tables that I can't see. In the attached pic you can see some merpmods available, but the others aren't. It's not greyed out. Not sure if I need to do something to the definitions (best guess) or I'm missing something else. Help! Thanks!

Some additional info: I set all the rev limiters that I can see to around 7K RPM and speed limiters to like 300 mph for testing and that doesn't make a difference. I read that the stock rev limiter won't be used. I can see and adjust the merp rev limits (those are all set to 7200).

It appears you have all the right tables for that Merp patch. Try disabling Flat Foot Shift.

Thanks I'll try that out.

So these tables circled in red don't have any drop downs or tables. So some ROMs have these and others don't?

Hello, I have a legacy spec.b a2ug000k testing the patch that I achieved with merp from github when loading it, everything works except the launch control + ffs function, the car does not have a cut, you give the red line and if you program in 7k the same rotates through the 8.5k or more.
I already tried playing on the oem patch and on the merp it gave me the same thing, I didn't find much related to this ecu so I check here if someone has already had the same thing.
if I go back to the stock rom it does not give problems in the redline.
Thank you!!

Hi all,

I have a 2013 STI that I am trying to tune with MerpMod, and would really appreciate some help.

I grabbed a copy of a flex fuel capable version from here - viewtopic.php?f=37&t=14020, but I don't think the definitions are working properly/or at least not in the way that I would expect them to work for flex fuel. It looks like an older version, but I've tried building MerpMod myself and I'm close, but still getting errors in compiling etc.

Q1 - There is a map blending for injector, throttle, cranking, startup. As far as I can tell, I use a multiplier in these maps to add more fuel (after setting up the input via the sensor). So if I understand - as an example, if I have a 1012cc base injector, and I want to make the ECU add 38.6% more fuel by volume then I put 0.755 in this map, making the ECU calculate its injector times like it is 764cc and therefore add more fuel. Is that a correct understanding?

Q2 - There appears to be no map blending for boost or timing? Normally I would add more boost and more timing on the E85 side. Or is that only possible via the SI drive maps?

I've attached the ROM I am using, with the definitions, and a screenshot of what I can see in the Eculash menu.

Did you get an answer for this or does anyone know where to look for an explanation of the above

Does the Merpmod launch control switch show activated in logger when you try it?
