Topic: Few seconds pops. Anyone achieved how to get pops every time when let of a throttle? I don't get pops after WOT/high load. I tried disable fast decreasing tps detection but with no effect :( Something cut fuel immediately. I see that on fuel economy gauge.

I do not see such a need
For me it made a few extra pops with some retarded ignition.

tdehrmann1 it can't be just a minimum coolant temperature. Stock value is 80*C and on cold engine, fuel is still cut after high load decel :( I'm beginning to doubt that these tables even work ...

tdehrmann1 at first thank a million for your helps !

When i tried Pazi88 recommendation my maps was from m52b20. After that u know i've flashed 2.8 rom to the my ecu. Decided to test Pazi88 recommendation now with 2.8 maps.

Increased "Ignition Retard - Decreasing TPS - Step Size" 15 degrees
Left side stock
Image

Decreased "Ignition Retard - Decreasing TPS (closed)" 10 degrees
Image

Decreased "Ignition Retard - Decreasing TPS" 25 degrees
Image

Changed "Fuel Restore - RPM" above my RPM limiter
Image

Result isn't ideal for me(like a "cleanish_e36" fast crackles) but perfect!
u can watch the result video;

hello all,

I am with a 320i ( euro ) , after several tests I've very big pop when decelerating, but only under 3500rpm-3800, I read the whole thread and try what is written but I must be missing a value to modify, do you have the information ?
( i try with "fast decreasing TPS - min rpm" at 6000rpm , or 0rpm the same result)

Thanks ! from France

Hi, used your settings and added some fuel to the base map. Here is a video of the result. But I would like even more fire, I do not know in what settings you can add fuel. Sorry for my English, I use Google Translate.

Hi everyone,

this is my first post but I am a interested reader for months.
I learned a lot through other posts, but I wasn't able to find how to put pops and bangs on the AC. I've read all posts which exists to pops and bangs.

I don't want a done file, just an advise which tables I have to work on to put the pops on the AC.

In my latest tries, I've changed Fuel Restore RPM (AC) and Ignition Retard, but there were no Pops when the AC is on.
If I tried the same in the normal Fuel Restore RPM map, I got Pops.
Where is my mistake?

Would be great if someone could help me.

If you have a working ac in your car, modify all the tables as you would modify for regular pops, except for Fuel Restore - RPM and Ignition Retard - Decreasing TPS (Closed) you need to modify Fuel Restore - RPM (AC on) and Ignition Retard - Decreasing TPS (Closed) (AC on)

If your AC isn't working in the car, pops won't work. However you can trick ECU into thinking it is working, by grounding pin 16 from the ecu.
