Carberry ROM, using my A/C input on ECU...I dont have an A/C system but I was running that pin to a switch running to ground but I'm not getting an indication on the logger that the A/C is triggered, it's staying at 0. Do I need to use the inverted option?

the switch itself does not send the signal, I believe it is tied to the clutch engagement on the a/c.
you can however find the pin on the ecu responsible for it and wire a switch to it, or rather, rewire the a/c switch to go to the pin responsible for having a voltage or not (geing "open" or "grounded" changes the status)
google "2002 wrx ecu pinout" and you'll find some pdfs to show you where is what on the ecu plugs.

when a switch type of signal is used, a pin is picked that has 12v potential. when it is not grounded, it's open when the circuit to that pin is closed, and the voltage potential is dropped to near zero, the status is switched.
an example would be the neutral position switch. standard vs reversed is just that one is normally open and one is normally closed.
