Hi,
I'd appreciate if you could provide me with the XML definition of my european ECU or give me some pointers on how to do it.
The attached zip file contains the ROM dump (made with ecuExplorer) of my ECU.
Please let me know if you need further info on my car.
Regards,
Patrick (Switzerland)

New findings :
My ROM image is partly supported under EcuFlash (see attached file), but most of the maps show *strange* values (have a look at the target boost map).
Any feedback is welcome,
P.

How did you get this ROM to work with RomRaider without ev8siv3 XML definition ? Did you already have an updated ecu_defs.xml file ?
If so, I'm really interested in that file.
Thanks,
P.

Thanks again for you post ev8siv3.
However, I'm having some difficulties with your XML definition file; The layout is really different from the ones I've seen (since you organised the maps by their number of dimensions) and some maps show really funny values (such as 14'500 RPM ).
Can you please send me your ROM image for comparison ? I wonder if there are some changes between the UK and the Swiss versions...
Have a nice day,
Patrick
P.S.: Sorry to butcher your language...french (well swiss french ) is my mother tongue

This is the one I modified after created using xmlwrite v4.
It works 100% fine with RomRaider. Let me know what is your outcome.

It works. Too bad it's not the same layout as the other XML definitions.
I wish I had a XML def. with the US units, so I'll be able to copy the values from a Stage 1 map I recently downloaded.

tu n'as qu'a regarder quelles valeurs changent au niveau boost avance injection et les appliquer toi meme avec la fonction edit, attention aux qualites d'essence.
for the others (it was so great to speak french with someone on this site!)
i told him to see the differences in the boost map, ignition and fuel on a stage 1 US ROM and to put it in his rom. Is it a good idea?

<french>Oui, c'est une bonne idée, mais le problème vient du fait que les unités (métriques/US) diffèrent entre les deux maps et qu'il faut aussi s'occuper du wastegate</french>
It's a good idea. However, the task is going to be diffucult since the units are different (metric/US) and sometimes the scales too. But, still, I can always figure out the subtle changes between the stock US ROM and the stage 1 one and reflect them (percentage wise) on the european version.
Thanks for your input,
P.
