Hello.

Will I get this to make the exhaust gurgling when slowing down on the A / C (this will only work if I completely lock the dampers)?

My guess is that these will be more shots at closed throttle than gurgling while slowing down?

here it is , my mod file 24kb with PB and flames from 6800rpm to 3000 rpm

Converted this to a 328i map, very consistent! Builds up after WoT and lets off a HUGE bang.

Will try get some video soon as I can't rev where I live.

I already had time to check and basically didn't notice any difference, nor the shots

Shots from the exhaust will always be associated with the suspension of revolutions, which is why I have already given up on this, although under the button from the air conditioning a lot would not bother me because I rarely drive on air conditioning

tdehrmann1 at first thank a million for your helps !

When i tried Pazi88 recommendation my maps was from m52b20. After that u know i've flashed 2.8 rom to the my ecu. Decided to test Pazi88 recommendation now with 2.8 maps.

Increased "Ignition Retard - Decreasing TPS - Step Size" 15 degrees
Left side stock

Decreased "Ignition Retard - Decreasing TPS (closed)" 10 degrees

Decreased "Ignition Retard - Decreasing TPS" 25 degrees

Changed "Fuel Restore - RPM" above my RPM limiter

Result isn't ideal for me(like a "cleanish_e36" fast crackles) but perfect!
u can watch the result video;

Hi, i'm new and I read and watch tutorials but I have a problem with rev limiter mode in m52b28.

I set:
Hard Limiter: 6800
Immediate: 6950
Hysteresis A: 50
Hysteresis B: 0
VSS Error: 6950

and nothing happened. Can you explain me and help to finish this?

Did you write that data in the switchboard by bridging the pins? Check if you really wrote in the switchboard with a read and compare

So I tried today a tune with all the deceleration maps from the MS41.2 on my euro 2.8, and there was a lot of problem, bad start, idle too low and not stable, very loud farts at the exhaust, it was not very good for the engine, after this I have checked on INPA, and lots of error including Vanos error... Well, It wasn't a good try for my contribution, decel maps and ignition retard were so different beetween MS41.2 and MS41.0.

So I decided to keep the decel maps stock from my MS41.0 and only play with the fast detection TPS, and it worked, RPM drops so much faster, I love it, sounds kind of like a Euro M3 now, I have the full exhaust though.

I have a video if you want to see, enjoy it =)

Hi, Can someone help me with the values that I must change to achieve the same result?
Sorry for my bad english

greeting

I have made some progress. Easiest way of getting rid of the rev-hang in ms41.0 without negative effects just edit the "Ignition retard - Decreasing TPS - Step Size (ECT compensation) to look like this:

No other modifications needed. If it's too aggressive raise the 60 an 82 degree values little bit.

If you want exhaust pops in addition to that lower the three "Ignition retard - Decreasing TPS" by 10 to 20 degrees, depending how aggressive you want it to be. And raise the "Fuel restore RPM" values above the rev limiter.

The short burst of exhaust popping is still under study but rising the "Fuel cut - RPM Hysteresis (Maximum)" to 6900 instead of "Fuel restore RPM" makes it happen. But the effect is bit random, so it still needs some work.

Thank you very much pazi88, I changed my table and the car was with spectacular behavior.
The engine is M50B30 with intake M50B25 full euro m3 exhaust, I adjusted the maps for this configuration.
