Hello!

Are there any ways (without writing it to ECU) of converting (presumably) PCMFlash file to RomRaider?

Situation is like this:
- I have KKL, Tactrix cables
- bought some reputable tuners file for my Tribeca - but not from himself.
- before even trying to flash it - realized that RomRaider doesn't open the file. And since I don't have PCMFlash software/hardware (and don't plan on buying it) - I don't want to play russian roulette with that file on my ECU. If that file is legit - I would like to compare it to Bamofo's work ( viewtopic.php?f=15&t=12989 ) and learn from both.

PCMFlash is encoded files so it will not work without PCMFlash

Havng seen the Tribeca tunes from 'reputable' tuner, just throw it in the bin. Stock actually drove better

well. My experience with Bamofo's work got me really curious (I will write my experience and questions a bit later in his topic). :)

But another idea-fix on topic - I will be visiting guy with PCMflash equipment and may be we could try to write that "reputable tuners chip" to whatever ecu is on hand (with large enoughflash chip) and after read it with ecuflash - to have it decoded.

Was someone else I thought you were referring to :)

If you use PCM Flash, the file is readable using a Tactrix in future anyway

Reputable tuner I mentioned is "Василий Армеев" (he's from Russia, so - I don't think that people from other side of the world might know him).
Friend of mine has good experience with him, he was responding fast to my emails (even though the whole situation was crazy).

Anyways - this morning ordered used ecu - will experiment on that in June. Fingers crossed :)
