Is anyone able to walk me through setting my wideband up in the logger? I read the user defined settings post but I'm not sure what to put in the fields for my particular wideband. I have a Glowshift Elite that has a 0-5v analogue output being converted by the Phidgets interface

Enter the formula that will convert the 0-5VDC to AFR or lambda, which ever you wish to tune in.
You should have this from the manufacturer by way of a formula or graph or table.
Here are some examples: viewtopic.php?p=92895#p92895

Sorry for my ignorance, but I have no idea where to find that formula. I looked through the documentation that came with the wideband and I googled it but came up with nothing. I read through that thread you linked, but that formula is specific to the wideband, correct? Or can I use the one posted in that thread?

It is specific to your wideband.

So I'm guessing I need to get it from them directly then? What would I ask for, specifically? The voltage to afr or lambda conversation formula?

Ok, so they sent me the conversion chart which I've attached (support responded with the chart in less than ten minutes. I'm blown away.) How do I convert this information into the formula I need to input in the user defined settings?

Break out your spreadsheet skills. Load the data into a spreadsheet and plot lambda or AFR over volts to see if the curve has a constant slope or not. You can even get the formula from the plotted graph if you add a trend line.

Then validate the formula with some sample data and see if the line matches the data they sent you.

I've never used spreadsheets up until this point. Should be interesting.

So after faaaar too much fiddling with Excel I ended up with this graph. I plotted a trendline on it and selected the view equation option. Is that the equation I use for the user defined settings?

Test the formula with some sample volts data and see if you can reproduce the AFR that the manufacture gave you. If you can, then the formula should be good to use.

So I finally have time to mess with this. I just soldered up the output to the Phidget. I think I did it wrong, however. Looking at their website pin 6 should be Ground and pin 12 should be 5v. I soldered the ground from my gauge output to pin 6 and my 0-5v data wire to pin 12. I set up the plugin user prefs and ran it. The gauge pins at 20, but if I unplug the analog out it drops to the correct afr. I also get no input in RR logger. What pins should I be soldering to? My guage has analog 0-5v output, not digital.

Looks like they have two versions of the pinout. The one I just found indicates that the 5v wires SUPPLY voltage. Dumb mistake on my part. Resoldering the input to pin 7 now.

Yep, now it works. However my formula is apparently wrong, because my gauge shows 14.9 and my input shows ~1038...

Used a formula I found in the thread (0.0099935 * x + 10.001) and it seems to be pretty much spot on. *shrugs*
