Does any one know the idle strategy for the 350z.

I believe a combination of throttle angle and spark timing in used.

What does the idle parameter screen looks like in Romraider?

Are the learned idle air values accessible by Romraider?

Is only the set RPM verses temperature accessible?

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

Well, it's some form of a PID Control system with the target mainly being based on coolant temperature, with obvious exceptions. (Conditional) Don't want to make any bold claims since I haven't dove into that area yet. But the most important things it does is control the throttle + timing. There are upper and lower throttle limiters it has to abide by, and the ignition timing is based on the GOV table value, but being compensated as well. Oddly enough, this timing compensation really doesn't vary by much. So running 15 degrees of base timing will see the same +/- X degrees of adjustment as running 10 or 20 degrees of base timing.

More analysis has yielded some nice results. The ETC logic is basically taking a requested air volume amount in gal/min and converting it to a throttle opening area to achieve said request. There are TONS of tables and values used to control the requested air volume amount. There’s a minimum air volume table as well that it uses whenever the requested air volume is below said tables value. What’s cool is you have a drive and neutral compensation table based on your target AFR! Then a general drive table based on RPM. I’m still in the process of analyzing just a few of the remaining RAM parameters, but once that’s done, I’ll have the tables added to CF48D in the public A2L defs (once the subcategories get added to the official release of romraider)
