I just do not understand why you are removing IAC valve while still running intake manifold where it is not an issue to have one...
Which base software are you using? M54B25? B30? Have you tried to run current setup on MS42 ECU and get logs? Why you changed ECU and are you sure you properly tuned base MS43 software for different engine (because from ECU side the differences are not that small)?

Got mine today for 50euro and I wonder how to fit the injectors without cutting plastic because I want to use it for forced induction.Maybe i should fire the TIG and make a flange, any ideas? :D

Here is an M54 flange that may work.

Would be very interesting. It should also work on b25 or ? maybe a good alternative to the b30 intake

Hey mates, greetings from Bulgaria!
Happy new year, wish you all to be healthy and happy, and more powerful engines!

I'm starting to collect the parts for this intake upgrade and i'm searching for info about the customizing of the portmatching and mounting the fuel injectors.

Is there an adapter flange needed between the head and manifold or it fits bolt on?(this week manifold will be in our shop)
What are the methods of mounting fuel injectors, i saw one guy cuts injector pieces from the m54 manifold and gluing them on n54 runners, that's look little scrappy, but its works fine( he makes 230whp and 245wnm - from m52b28 tha's his dyno graphic (in compare to m50b25 manifold is 30hp and 34nm less))
And there's an adapter flange with injectors holes from one dude but that makes runners lot longer and it's about 600$ which makes that upgrade too expensive, closer to s54 itb...

Any adapters to this manifold to mount the injectors is a failure. They significantly extend the length of the collector and its entire geometry.
After such a procedure, we get practically the M50B25 collector.
The only correct solution is to weld the collector, etc.

Original N54 manifold runners are too short for M52TU/M54. The peak of torque occurs outside the engine RPM range, something around 8k rpm.

I heard that the short length of the N54 intake manifold runners is due to the greater length of the channels in the N54B30 engine head, this is not confirmed information, if someone has knowledge about it - a request to share it :)

With this said for the runner lenth/peak torque it sounds like there is no point to put ITB's on an engine?? :D

I'm very interested about mounting N54 Intake on M54 and i can't find any more information about it, except few topics, two photos and a very expensive adapter, i want to bump this topic. 8)
So, plastic welding/glueing port injector bungs to N54 intake is more or less straight forward, but what about that torque... Racemode adapter extends the runners alot, and gets impressive dyno results.
Manifold + Throttle body is less than 100euro together, so im not interested in 600euro (or more) adapter just to mount injectors.
Maybe someone have something to say about the loss of torque or other injector mounting methods (or even joining m54 intake runners with n54 together or smth about that :D )

A little update...I have managed to plastic weld the injector ports and the engine has already 1500 miles on it.It feels very good but sometimes its not as smooth as driving the stock intake.I think its the load filtration, intake model maps and VO maps that are causing this. The TB is from N52,stock M54 MAF and injectors. The cams are regrinds 252 and 240.Will be installing Schmiedmann headers and full custom exhaust and then will go for the dyno.Any suggestions how to deal with the load filtration maps.I checked ALPINA sw and it only uses 1 single table for valve overlap but it has single VANOS.About the intake model I have no idea how to deal with its maps...The intake was the most time consuming in the entire project but I think it will be worth it.Any ideas will be appreciated!I also have a MAP sensor to log intake pressure if it can help.I havent noticed if the logger has caculated IAP value so I can compare them maybe?I think the best option for power is alpha/n but its my daily...

The ports from which engine manifold?
