Hello,
I haven't worked on my BMW in a while and I have to download RomRaider again. The bin files I have were created with RomRaider 5.9 RC 738, several years ago.
Do I have to download the same version to safely manipulate the files or can I use the updated version with the old bin files?

The binary files do not change, since the ECU is the same. You can always use the latest RomRaider version with the latest definition file for it. You just need to make sure the definition file is supported by your RomRaider version, which should be the case if you use the latest one.
