Hi Guys,
I grab this base map, reflash my ecu and all works, I have a couple of problems, first I have a cut dint know if boost or fuel, other issue it's running too lean, find my rom attached and logs, the only thing I change in the map it's disable all the tgv cels (to avoid limp mode) because I have tgv delete, this is my setup:
ASDM WRX 2003 MT:
Up-Down pipe catless. STI Tmic Tial BOV atmospheric (came with the car, im searching for a hybrid I dint like and care about noise). TGV Delete.
I just run a couple of blocks because the cut and the crazy lean I have see on my wideband gauge,
PS: Im starting on tune sorry if I dint explain as I have to, thanks in advance for any help.

Hi there,
Thank you for the hard work that's gone into making this map - I've downloaded it to try it out in my '05 WRX but I'm unable to see any tables within Rom Raider after opening the file. Please could you advise me if there are any additional steps to follow after downloading the .bin file?
Cheers

WRX_565 Please re-read the first post on the first page. This ROM is a Carberry ROM, and requires Carberry definitions. One set for ecuflash, one set for romadier ecu definitions manager, and one for the logger definitions. Not knowing what region your 05 is from, I'm unsure that it would work on your platform - if your ecu uses 04 WRX flash method, then no.

Is it possible to use VE table from this map as a base for 2.5 engine?

Well, it's likely quite far off, but with safe enough afr should do. I wouldn't be surprised if jon7009 would have a table for you, though.

Hello,
I'm a newbie to tune a car via ecu and i would like to try this canberry C42PinkBASEtd04.bin map. So i have a few questions:
The car i have is a Bugeye EDM '02 WRX and the ECU A4SE900D. Changes made to the car: - STI intake manifold with TGV delete (stock STI '02 manifold without TGV) - Pink injectors - STI TMIC with GFB blow-off - HKS Mushroom airfilter - Cat delete, 2,5" straight pipe - Grimmspeed 3 port Boost Solenoid - Walbro 255 pump - EGT sensor delete, replaced it for a resistor.
I have EcuFlash working with this Rom, so if i change the TB and WGDC in this map and flash it i'm good to go.
Thanks for the respons.
greetz Manuel

Would someone be kind enough to modify the map for 93 RON?
Or does it tell me that I should modify?
Thanks

1. when i on my AC idle jumps up and down 900-1k rpm
2. when i blip my throttle sometimes rpm drops and stumble
3. at 2k to 3k rpm sometimes acceleration feels heavy at certain ect temp.
anyone here can guide me what to change will be great.
thanks firstly you should log these things happening, makes it easier to see whats going on - also you'd be better to start your own thread with "here's my rom and my logs and what's happening" kind of info in it

Goood morning John, and the rest of you guys,
I trust 2022 has started well for you.
One thing I believe I need clarification on is, in the list of things to change when altering this rom for my 04 EDM WRX is, does the various items to be altered need to be multiplied by the result of the injector equation, or by the reciprocal of the result.
For example, 420/800 = 0.525 (1.9047 reciprocal) As you see both give different formula results when applied elsewhere.
In the case of the latency and tip in conversion the results would have a different effect.
I am sorry for my noobie question.
Yours Mark..

essentially, anything with a value in pulse width (IPW or BPW) would be a factor of old injector divided by new injector rate. 800/420 * cell value also, you could divide the value by (new/old), but Romraider doesn't have a divide button. if you're only using one set of tables for a single fuel tune, then there is a total of 9 tables, besides the injector calibration tables themselves, that you would modify using this. then you have latency, scalar, minimum pulsewidth (the minimum threshold of open time aside from dead time/latency, where any called value below this limit is instead, at this limit), and low pulsewidth compensation, if needed. I should probably update this rom, since I've continued to develop it and it's been more refined. I believe this is one of the roms where I accidentally inverted one of the 2D compensation timing tables and the result is that sometimes oscillates around idle at colder temps.

Thank you, John.
It's sort of what I guessed.
So in the case of the de-capped light blues, would there be an increase in the comps and cell values, as I have noticed on other tuned Carberry roms with an increase in injector size.
Or just a mix between the nine various tables after ringing the changes.
So, on the eve of flashing a Carberry map, it seems I am still not 100% confident in the changes that I have made.
Anyway thanks for the effort you continually put in to this comunity.
Mark..

Thank you jon7009 for an awesome base to start from! However I am currently in the process of dropping in a JDM ej205 after running this on my USDM for ages. Ive made the required changes considering the new engine is higher compression but I couldnt help but notice the AVCS table. My JDM swap has AVCS and the cars fully wired for it so Id love to make use of it. But after looking at the AVCS table and comparing it to the stock map, it appears AVCS was never setup on this Base. My assumption this is due to the base being setup for non-AVCS motors but the Group N rom contained AVCS features?
With that being said should i just disable it for the time being?

Hi Jon, Did you ever had a chance to update the rom with your refinements? I'm currently running carberry on my WRX and looking for improvements. -K&N panel filter -turbo inlet -STI ic -TGV delete -GM BCS -catless uppipe/downpipe Thank you for everything you are doing!

Jon, I am about to flash this to my 2003/04 EDM WRX, and need a definative answer on this;
What can I expect of the Immobiliser after the flash.
Oem Immobiliser. Oem Alarm. Oem Key Fob.
Would like to keep them all.
Thanks in advance m8.

Nothing, the immo just won't function anymore, e.g. you would be able to start the car with a key that has no chip on it. If your ECU allows to flash the carberry on it that is (I think it should, if not, you can obtain a 02 ECU somewhere - it is plug and play).
