You could use the Log cfg tool http://romraider.com/logcfg/

https://romraider.com/roms/dl.php?file=logcfg.exe

It's a shame the tool doesn't have the Carberry Logger definitions and doesn't allow to upload it.

I also can't seem to get logcfg.exe to work. I get a 'failed to process logger file' error. Tried with Carberry defs and normal defs.

I've looked through the settings.xml file and everything looks like it's pointing to the right files.

Try https://romraider.com/logcfg/ now with a Carberry profile.

In the meantime I manage to tweak this python script port to make it work with my ECU id:
https://github.com/macedot/logcfg

I did a test. Is 4 sample per second really all I can expect from standalone? Can I even use that data in Airboy spreadsheet with that kind of sample rate and lag?

P.S. I'm using the TGV 5v input to log my Innovate wideband.

I'll have to take a look as to why it doesn't generate a file from your inputs.

The standalone does not support the fast poll method that RR Logger uses, so the more parameters you have it log the slower it gets. The only way to speed it up is to log fewer parameters focusing on only those needed for the table you are trying to tune, then adjust the parameters for your next table and so on ...

https://romraider.com/logcfg/ should be working now with your profile. You had the selected parameters on the Dash tab and the tool only looked to those selected on the Live Data tab.

One more thing. I know it's been dead for nearly a decade. But is it true that implementing fast polling on tactrix would be a matter of changing one bit on the read request and setup response untill interupted?
http://forums.openecu.org/viewtopic.php ... 674#p28124

If so it's a shame it was never done.

Yes flipping one bit does the trick, but behind the scenes the whole write and read process has to be re-written to support either mode of operation.
It took me more than a few hours to implement it in RomRaider Logger.

Thanks! I guess my only option is to find a more compact way to run RR then my big old XP laptop.
