Hello guys,
I am from Albania , and I have a bmw e36 , with m50b25TU swap. did turbo it .
Anyway , telling short problem of mine that is related to ms41.2 conversion.
I am running the engine with ms41.2 on stock siemens 5Wk9 maf and all siemens sensors.
All works fine, except that i get error 244 ( crankshaft interval timing) . I have tried almost everything but still get the error, and the engine is spot on timing, Vanos is working and the CPS andCPK are oem too( tried others on working cars and still the same problem). Do not get this error on ms41.0 but only in ms41.2
I am really happy that this forum exists and i have donated also, because the guys here , bustehax, mrf , pazzi and others have given the highest contribution ever on a bmw related forum i think. Keep going guys.
Patrik

BMW did recall stock M52 5V hall sensors for OBD2-systems to trade for later type M54 12V halls, because those 5V halls weren't accurate enough.
Original BMW conversion kit can be used for block mounted crank-triggered M52-systems and for front trigger mounted systems 12V hall can be changed and 12V power can be robbed from vanos solenoid like with BMW's original kit.
It's usually that 5V hall-sensor which gives problems, 12V hall sensor makes 5V reference signal from 12V power source and is much more accurate when there's old wiring etc. Even MS41.0 start to generate problems eventually but OBD2-compliant 41.1 and 41.2 much sooner.

Today I decided to upgrade my dm41.0 to .2 based on the ba114 file, when I opened it and compared it to my stock m52 b28 files I found that in "fuel" the load is different.I don't understand why, supposedly I should just flash a full ms41.2 file and then flash the ba114 partial file, I'm a bit lost after reading the full thread, I have many threads su loose

Great effort in doing this work and providing the bin. I have done it also for my b25 as u described and know that it takes some time and effort. It explains why the load axis is different. I kept the ms41.2 axis and interpolated and extrapolated the ms41.0 values to fit in.
