Good evening everybody,

I am unable to open Learning Table Values on my laptop. Everything else works correctly; Datalogging, Tuning, Flashing, all the shenanigans.
But whenever I press F6 or do it by the dropdown menu it doenst open the window. After prompting "Interrupt Logging to read the Learning Table Values?" I click YES and nothing happens.

I have included a log (cleared it before making it) doing all 3 ways of opening LTV. None of them worked.

Thanks in Advance

Key Info:
MS43 430069 (7551615)
RomRaider version v0.9.2
Definitions:

The only error is:
Unable to read ECU definition file D:\SanjuRoku\Definitions\RomRaider Defs\MS42_ECU_Definitions_v0.41.xml

Did you move the file? Make sure to removed this in the Definition Manager and add the location of the actual ECU def file.

Just checked it, its still there.
Wouldnt that be unrelated though? Since its for a MS42 and I'm trying this with a MS43.
Removed it from the manager anyways now, I can check the results tomorrow when I'm back at the garage.

I tried the function today on another device (HP Windows 8 Tablet) and its working fine on a MS41.
Also then I can see it loading the tables in the lower left hand corner before it pops the window.
My laptop didnt seem to do anything at all when I tried to load it up..

The unreadable file may have terminated the LTV function.

Thanks again for your patience

Just remove the missing file from the Definition Manager.

I have done so in the OP, cleared it before making it. And tried all 3 ways of opening the LTV.

What I just noticed is that INPA on this laptop doesnt recognize my cable. But I can log just fine with RR Logger and also flash using MS4x Flasher. Maybe that has something to do with it? I'm using a blue "Autodiag K+DCAN" cable. The same cable is used on my Windows Tablet and that works all fine.

EDIT:
After checking my OBD.ini file in the EDIABAS Folder I noticed a wrong COM port setting.
Corrected that and now INPA sees my cable.
I'm still at work until late tonight so I'm not able to check right now if this made any difference at all.
Is the Ediabas OBD.ini file used by RR Logger for the connection?

Just a brainfart theory: Would "half a connection" make this happen? Since LTV only opens after establishing a connection.
By having a connection (im able to log) it passes that check. But since the OBD.ini file was referring to a wrong COM port the whole thing didnt "come through"
Again, just a brainfart.

I'll check in as soon as I know more

Thanks so far!

There is no interaction between RomRaider and any other external program. If you can log with RomRaider and you have the proper Editor definition file set then that's all that is needed.

Your original log has no debugging info in it, that's why I directed you to the link to create a debug log while attempting to read LTV.

Well I tried reading the LTV 3 times in that log.
I'll be back at the car tonight, i'll make sure to make another one.
Definition file in the editor is set correctly, I use it to alter the tune as well.

Well I finally got it working!

Apparantly it doesnt like it when you have multiple definitions stored in the manager. I have several BMW's and stored all defs in the manager to be able to work on all.
When I keep just the one I want to log in there, all is fine.

Again, thank you for your help! :D
