I'm having Issues with reading. Green connectors are connected. Check engine light is flashing and Cooling Fan is running.
Tested with all templates, but the right is Subaru 32bit 512k.

ECU Flash and ECU edit tested.

are you sure the ecu hasn't been tuned previously with something that locks the ecu like ecutek or cobb?

It is probably tuned, because we bought the car with recently rebuild engine from US and it has a Rev Limiter set at 4000 Rpm, which I think is for safety for the first few thousand km after the rebuild.

Is there a way I can read or directly write the stock file?
I actually got the exact stock bin regarding the ECU ID from the Openport Log: 2E12495106 - Internal ID: A2ZJ500J

if you have an ECUTek/Cobb dealer nearby you could ask them to plug it in and see if there's a license installed on the ECU. You could then have them remove it so you can tune opensource. Alternatively you can do an SHBoot recovery to put a standard file on it or just replace it with another ECU that hasn't been locked yet.

This seems a locked ecu, maybe by ecutek.
Solutions?
I noticed the SHbootmode, what is it? Can I use it with the 2.0 cable?

yes if you make and use the SHBoot cable you can load a stock file onto the ecu to start tuning it - alternatively find your nearest cobb/ecutek tuner and ask if they can remove the license from the ECU *or* contact Tactrix and see if they will bench (shboot) the ecu for you.

Fwiw I was in this exact same situation with a ecutek tuned car. The ecutek tuner closest to me said they couldn't load a stock file, only the tuner that tuned the car with ecutek could restore it.
