Attached is an MS41.2 partial, with all ms41.0 tables ported over. I have retained the stock MS41.2 axis breakpoints, and interpolated/extrapolated the original ms41.0 values to fit within the MS41.2 breakpoints (using 'table rescale' within the 'maf scaling v2.4.2' application which can be found on these forums)
In this partial AC doesn't work on e36. Here is proper file (checksum corrected)

Hello I have 1998 BMW Z3 and after flashing ms41.2 I have problem with check engine light, it's not working, plus I got CEL error (code 20). Is it possible to get going? I saw in electrical diagrams that BMW Z3 has CEL connected directly to ECU output, whereas E36 has it done by communication line. Does anyone know if it can be solved?

Greetings fellow Bimmers. I intend to convert my ECU from 41.0 to 41.2, I have a BMW E36 328i EU AT 96. I read and re-read this topic 3 times to understand the process, but I was a little confused and I need to ask. If my ECU is 100% stock, are the conversion steps the same as in the first post? 1 - Full flash with the indicated file. 2 - Partial flash with the indicated file, corrected AC. 3 - Reset adaptations and DTC errors. 4 - Disable DTCs that do not belong to the version of my car. Would it be this? Or do I need to copy values from some tables in my original rom? If so, which ones exactly? I apologize for my English, I'm Brazilian. Thanks.

Wanted to say huge thanks to this development thread, my little backstory: My car was initially M43B16, I swapped M52B25 DME is MS41.0 ID41 1432401, my both O2 sensors were dead so there were no additional functions in RomRaider to turn off unnecessary stuff related to these errors, so I decided to purchase QuickFlash and do a conversion to 41.2. I read full/partial stock firmwares and started flashing using files in first post, unfortunately I made a mistake and flashed Tune file instead of full 256kb one, despite all Brick warnings I still flashed my DME (stupid me) eventually the program said that I bricked my DME and that I should write original .bin file right away without reseting DME which I luckily did and restored the original one without bricking anything. After that I managed to flash 256kb firmware and then corresponding 2.3 partial. Reset adaptaions and errors and magic, the car started right away. I must say that when comparing stock and this firmware for 2.3 there is a noticable difference in fueling, I disabled all EVAP crap and error detection for various sensors that I dont need for driftcar and I must say that without o2 sensors the car behaves very nice, only thing is a bit lumpy idle after stopping the car needle drops a bit slow but its alot drivable than original MS41.0 firmware. Make backups guys
