Hey,
I bought a E46 328ci with an M52TUB28.

But somehow the previous owner managed to put a MS43 instead a MS42 into it.

I cant find any ECU Definitions for it.

Can I just flash the M54B28 onto it?

Or does the MS42 Map work on the MS43?

Thank you for your anwsers!

M54b28 doesn’t exist. If you have pulled the bin off the car and the definition isn’t working with it, then it’s possible the software version on the dme isn’t supported by the definition. In that case you should just update to 0069. Flashing an ms42 bin onto ms43 will brick the dme. If the motor has all the b30 intake goodies and cam, flash a b30 bin. If it doesnt have that stuff, flash a m54b25 tune, rescale the injectors, and probably just copy and paste all the important injection and igntion tables from a b28 bin. I thought the b25 and b28 have the same maf, but if they don’t you’ll have to figure out which you got and scale accordingly. There’s probably more I’m forgetting but yeah.
