I have a feeling my outback was mapped with a manual transmission tune. Where could I get a stock A/T tune for an 08/09 outback XT?

I didn't see anything listed in the sub-forums here. Just 05/06 years

I'm not opposed a tune that would be similar to "stage 1". however my preference would be an OEM stock tune.

if its not there then what's your ROM ID as it will be easier to search for?

Yep. 05/06 has multiple options and only one 08/09 option and its an Auto JDM. I'm assuming I don't want to use JDM.

If I'm worried that my car was tuned for an M/T, would the ROM ID still be relevant?
Excuse me as I'm new to Opensource and this is all new ground to me.

I take that back, maybe it is. It was bundled with the Legacy GT.. I need to do some digging to verify if its the same tune.

Read your current ROM and look for the ECUID/CALID, that should answer if your car has a MT tune.

Also, once you get to know what's your ECUID, then you can search a stock file so you can compare it to see what's changed between them.
