Hi, i'm dropping a basetune from my 2011 WRX With Dual AVCS(STI ECU). This tune has very little change. Great for a start. Using 94OCT Petro-Canada Also using 91OCT Its running: - VF52 - Secondary air pump delete - Cylinder 4 cooling mod (Dual AVCS)Update 2023-09-19 BASETUNE-20x.bin - Engine Load Compensation Tables changes - Injector Scaling Tables changed for those that have stock injectors. MAP-V1.bin - Engine Load Compensation Tables Changes - Turbo Tables changes for VF45 - AVCS Mid range changes for more torque (Single AVCS)Update 2024-08-11 ADDED V1.bin - WRX ECU - 0 Tooth off - 91 Octane If anyone can help on making this tune a better basetune, It would very helpful

I have updated my tune and also my car.
I had a problem with my vf45 twin scroll turbo so i swapped over the usdm stuff, meaning now im running a vf52, cobb catted downpipe, OEM injectors(550cc).
Managed to get around 260hp/230ft-lb. (btssm based)
Nothing crazy, just keeping the engine safe.
Local 94oct from petro canada.
Also i had time to pick my friend's tuned 2009 WRX with 1 tooth off exhaust avcs.
The only thing he did is pretty much maf scale and thats it.

Update, this is what i use for as a base tune to start with...
Timing 20X/Y + AVCS Intake JDM, AVCS Exhaust at 0 degrees.

Amazing work, thanks for posting updates! I have a 2011 WRX that will eventually be getting an EJ20X, and I'd love to try out your map. Do you have a WRX ECU rom (1 tooth off on the exhaust) with your latest revisions? If not, I could create one if you have a list of which tables were modified for the STI ECU rom version (assuming things can be migrated cleanly, I know some tables have a different number of columns  ).

I'm still working on a new tune again, im trying to figure it out the compression ratio of the ej20x/y (9.5:1) what i'm saying it that, i'm issuing some knock events when the car starts boosts because it's picking it up very fast. Also, i'm trying to play with cl/op transition.
I will send another tune after a while...
I'm trying to make the ej20x/y basetune so that people can atleast start with something.

Well alot of stuff changed in the tune, I have being doing some test with a new app I made in python, the app makes it so that i can scale the tables and implement them in the "correct load in the USDM map" it doesnt make a huge difference but it makes that i can ignore some stuff related to engine load. Other than that, I bricked my STI ecu  on the process of doing something funny with the ecu, for the time being until i get a STI ecu again, i did a basetune with 0 tooth off with the WRX ecu.

Hey, thanks for sharing this here! Is this using the stock intake? This matches pretty much exactly what I need, but I have the cobb sf intake.

Been a while i didnt update about what im trying to figure it out, basically i been trying to find a way to tune my EJ20Y, on the wrx ecu without dual avcs working, i have found that i was running a bit lean on take off and feedback knocking -4 to -7. I also saw that there was alot to do with close loop, meaning i have richen it up without changing nothing in timing/avcs etc. I made basically the simpliest tune to start with without changing timing, avcs and maf scaling since I for some reason find that it wasn't right, what i think is that i wanted to make the ECU think "its a EJ255" or soon i will put back my STI ecu for dual avcs and do the same, not sure how with dual avcs is going to react to what i want to do but i have a friend with a EJ20X with dual avcs but he's full bolt-ons and i will try on his to see how it will not knock on take off.

Any updates on your progress by chance? Currently putting a 20X in my 2011 WRX trying to get a decent basis for tuning before firing it up.
