are you able to read the rom and post it up (though if its an FB/DIT engine its not likely to be supported on romraider/ecuflash).

Grettings,
have tried upload in zip states too large, bin & srf are not alowwed any ideas...? Is there a way to "trim the fat " off LOL

normally the bin compressed with 7zip/winzip/winrar type of thing is fine. How big is your rom and what engine is in the car?

how is the bin going from 1mb uncompressed to 3.3mb compressed, your winrar is broken friend - try 7zip: https://www.7-zip.org/
