Before posting up your datalog, make sure you are prepared to also include additional information about your car. Without this data, it is nearly impossible for someone to give good feedback on the logs. 1. Post a short, relevant log with necessary logged parameters (see FAQ). Make sure you trim any non-relevant portions of the log and don't accidently trim the column headers out. If it is a WOT log, try to cover as wide a RPM range as possible such as 2000-2500rpm to redline. 2. Post a copy of the map used to generate log and what changes it has in it (as long as the map does not violate the rules found HERE). Without it, trying to analyze a log is not much more than guessing! 3. Post all engine modifications. 4. Post the year and model (WRX, STi, LGT, FXT, etc) of your car. 5. Post the fuel being used, your location and weather conditions. 6. Tell us what YOU think. If you have no idea, please go read the FAQs, do some research and review other threads first. If you don't post all of this information, you be much less likely to receive constructive feedback on your logs. Thanks and happy tuning!

And I'd add that it is helpful if you post the mods done to the engine and supporting equipment (fuel systems, electronics etc).

The FAQ numbers have changed, and the link to the recommended parameters is broken. The correct link is: http://www.romraider.com/Documentation/ ... rFAQ#toc62Can a moderator fix that? Thanks!

This should be amended since it is now only acceptable to post stock tunes and tunes that you have created yourself. Back when this thread was started, just about everyone using RomRaider* was a DIY tuner, but now there are plenty of paid tuners who don't want customers giving away their tunes. * ...and RomRaider was called Enginuity when Drees started this thread.

Section 6 of this how-to will help with the 1st requirement in Drees' list. How to make useful data logs: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=5384And this how-to will help with the 6th requirement in Drees' list. How to read data logs: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=6156I'm starting to insist on #6 - when you post a log, tell us what you see in the log. The number of people who need help seems to be growing faster than the number of people who can help, so people who show that they're interested in learning to tune will get more of my attention than people who just post raw data and ask for analysis.
